I was looking forward to receiving the Squiggle. The name is fun and it actually looks like something that would be enjoyable to play around with. When I got it, it was packaged in a standard plastic container that you pull apart at the top to open. You could see through the package so it wasn't at all discreet looking. I prefer items that come in boxes as I tend to store my toys in their packages, and it makes for easier stacking that way.

First thing I noticed when I opened the toy was the smell. While it isn't an overwhelming smell that you get with some toys out there; after five washes, it was still there. It has a smooth feel to it and there were no seams. The Squiggle is nine inches long and can be inserted seven inches. As I am new to anal, there was no way it was going in seven inches. That thought actually made me giggle. The other thing I noticed was that the design of this toy is definitely not condom friendly. I actually tried putting a condom on it and it ended up poking through the end of it. So I will be buying a separate Squiggle for my husband to try.

The one thing I loved about this item is that it starts off small at the tip and gets bigger as you go down towards the handle. It's made of PVC and, when looking at the photo on here, I expected it to be a bit more rigid feeling than it actually was. When playing with it, it was quite bendable.

I tried using it solo at first and found it frustrating. Because of the flexibility of the item, I found that once I got it in, to move it in any further, I had to use my finger to help push it in further. After getting frustrated, I asked my husband to help. I grabbed my favorite vibe, some water-based lube, and he applied a little both me and the end of the squiggle. A little bit of lube goes a long way on it and we didn't need to apply any more. Once I was relaxed enough, we managed to get in a little past the second "squiggle".
