Use

Colt Anal Douche is exactly what it says, it is a reusable anal douche. You could also use this as a vaginal douche. This kit would be suitable for anyone, beginner or advanced , who just wanting to clean things out before play.

Given the insertable tip is hard plastic, please take caution if you are new to using an enema or douche in your ass to avoid any injury. Now for your basic douching tips, do not use cold water as this may cause cramping; also do not use hot water because this may cause burns. Adjust the temp of the water to warm, somewhere around body temperature and test on an externally sensitive part of your body to test the temp. Once your temperature is adjusted you should be ready to douche.

Now since your rectum also produces a natural lubricant to help for a smooth move when we poop, please wait two hours after douching to engage in anal sex, giving your body time to regenerate the natural lube we just washed away with our unwanted fecal bits. Material / Texture

This reusable douche is made of plastic and latex, so if you are allergic to latex, please steer clear. The bulb that is filled with and holds the water is made of latex, the insertable tips are made of hard plastic.

When you finally get your douching kit out of the box, you will be overwhelmed with the rubber stench. I took the bulb and washed it with hot soapy water several times and the smell did not diminish whatsoever. I suppose, given my intentions for this product, I can ignore the smell for the short amount of time I will be using it. But your hands smell like rubber even after use.

The bulb feels like your typical rubber which goes hand-in-hand with the smell. The rubber of the bulb is fairly thick, it takes a good squeeze to get the water to expel out the tip. I am not sure if I got a slightly defective one, or if this is intentional. There is one spot in the bulb where the thickness of the rubber is significantly thinner that the rest. This makes squeezing the bulb easier, so no complaints from me unless it starts to wear more on that spot. The insertable tips are your normal hard plastic, non-porous and phthalates-free, and these have no scent of their own.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is essentially made of four pieces, the rubber bulb that holds the water, the tapered standard tip, and a ribbed tip with a removable lid for cleaning. The bulb itself it around 10" in circumference, the standard tapered tip is about 3" long with about 2" that should be inserted with very minimal circumference. The extra ribbed attachment is about 4 1/2" long 3" circumference with a flared latex cone on the bottom.

The toy comes packaged in two separate bags in the box, the bulb with standard tapered tip attached and your ribbed for pleasure attachment in a separate bag.

This douche works well with just the straight attachment, but if you want a little pleasure with your maintenance, the ribbed attachment simply slips over the standard tip. The ribbed tip has a screw on cap on the top for removal for easy cleaning and water flow adjustment. The only downfall is that there is no hole on the tip of this cap. For the water to come out while using this attachment you adjust the cap. If it is screwed the whole way, very little water comes out. The more you unscrew, it the larger the spray of water. This is because the hole is located right above the threads of the cap, giving you the option to adjust the amount of water that will be sprayed out. This is my only concern with this product due to the fact that, in all reality, that cap could come un-screwed while in your ass, then your off to the ER. Discretion is lacking with this toy given it sits about 10" tall when the ribbed attachment is in place. So leaving it on the bathroom counter or edge of the tub would be a sure give away to your guests who needed to go potty!!!

Performance

As far as performance, this douche does what it's supposed to. It fills with water and it expels water into my ass to leave it nice and clean for my anal endeavors. To fill it, simply fill your sink or a cup with body temp water squeeze the ball insert the tip into the water and slowly let the pressure out of the bulb thus sucking up the water. A nice quality of this douche is the flat bottom on the bulb, once it is filled you can set it down on a flat surface while you situate for insertion. Once you fill it up and insert, give it a nice squeeze and continue to squeeze until you remove it from your ass; to avoid sucking the water right back out of your ass, and to avoid sucking any bits into the bulb. For an easier insertion, if using the ribbed attachment, you may want a bit of water based lube to help ease it it.

Ease of use, I would say, depends on the person and the position you are most comfortable in to douche. Your best bet given its length with the ribbed attachment on would be maybe in the tub, if using the standard attachment you may be able to use over the toilet.

I found it easiest to use simply squatting down over a towel in the bathroom, but if your sphincter muscles are not super tight you might find that too messy; given you have to clench to hold the water in your ass. Once in hold the water in until you need to go or give it a few minutes and sit on the pot and gravity will take over... repeat until all that comes out is nice clean water and shortly you'll be ready for some nice clean ass play!

Care and Maintenance

I found this toy fairly easy to clean, since everything comes apart. Once I was done, I filled my sink up with some warm water and anti-bacterial soap. I filled the bulb with soapy water the same as I would prior to use and squirted it in the toilet, I did this a few times to clean out the inside of the tapered attachment. Then I pulled the tapered attachment off the bulb, rinsed the bulb a few more times in the soapy water and then rinsed with some warm clean water. I just set it on a towel upside down to get the excess water out of the bulb, since we all know bacteria loves damp wet places. A bit later I sat it upright for it to finish airing out. I then washed down the attachments in the soapy water, wiped down with rubbing alcohol, rinsed again in the soapy water then one last rinse with clean warm water. Same thing just set them on the towel to dry.

I store mine in the original package under my bathroom sink, but given the packaging is not discreet whatsoever, you may want to store in a large freezer bag somewhere no one would find it.

Packaging

Oh, the packaging. Colt's Anal douche comes in a very humorous box with a white background with large red and black print telling you that you have just received an anal douche system! There is a man built like a body builder on the front in a Speedo in the shower; his ass is facing you with the Speedo slightly riding up his cheeks with a picture of the douche overlaying his picture... Classic! The one side of the box does give instructions and use, while the back give you warnings about use and a picture explaining all the pieces. I use it as storage but I think because it makes me laugh! You may want a more discreet means of storage, depending on your situation.

    • Before using toys anally, you might want to practice with a finger, just to get yourself used to the sensation.

      As for toys, it's best to start small. Something like this plug or a small dildo would work well (Eden has plenty to choose from, but these are my personal recommendations). The first anal toy I used was Flexi Felix, and while it's a wonderful toy for beginners, as the beads start very small and get larger gradually, the popping sensation that comes with removing them can be a little shocking if you aren't used to it (I loved it, hehehe!).

      Go slow, use lots of lube, and if you feel pain, STOP and slow down or try again later. Anal tissues are delicate and can tear easily, so you have to be careful. You might want to try a lube shooter to help get lube up inside you more efficiently.

      Water in = water out, in my experiences. I don't have this product in particular, but I'm a supporter of anal douching. Pretty much eliminates any surprises and boosts one's confidence. As far as messy, you should be good as long as you use over a toilet. Just make sure that you leave a few minutes for all the water to work its way out.

      In the review I touched on that issue at the end:

      In total I’ve used the product 5 separate times, 4 with the thin nozzle and 1 with the ribbed nozzle; every time the thin nozzle was used there was no mess, the one time the ribbed nozzle was used water ended up ‘leaking’ everywhere. That was enough for me to decide I didn’t like it. I haven’t tried the ribbed nozzle again and I don’t really intend to, not only was it messy, but contrary to what the box said, it wasn’t very ‘pleasurable’ either.

      If you're using the thin nozzle it shouldn't be too much of an issue, but the ribbed one I'd suggest using in the tub just in case.
