Sweet Berries, but a Bumpy Ride

These little berries were excellent beads to start out with for me. Their flexibility and overall user-friendliness helped me get acquainted with the wonders of anal beads. Next time, I will look for something with a sexier look and smell, and definitely something sterilizable.

This toy is a nine inch string of five bright purple berries, each a bit bigger than the next. When I first saw them, I was disappointed that the size wasn't more graduated, but I think my eyes were bigger than... Well, you know. I could definitely feel the gradation when I used them. The biggest bead is a bit smaller than my very small butt plug. The string sounds long, but it seemed almost short in my hands, and I easily got them all the way in my first try.

Bad news first: the negatives. The color of the berries is a bit less sexy than I thought. It's rather day-glo. Also, the berries have their own chemical/plastic smell, which I find unpleasant. The material itself is not pure silicone, but TPR silicone, a blend of silicone and other chemicals. This means that you cannot sterilize it, but only wash it with soap and water. I would not recommend sharing this one with anyone else.

Now on to the positives! The beads are soft and silky, and easy to use. The most delightful thing about them is their little bumps. They don't seem like much, but the texture really came through once they were inside of me. It took a little getting used to, and meant I needed to use a lot of lube (but hey, don't we always?), but ultimately they were quite stimulating. The one problem with the bumps is they make the beads unpleasant to pull out too fast, which some people seem to enjoy.

This toy can be used in a variety of ways. Just lube them up, slowly push them in one at a time, and pull them out when you're ready. If you're playing alone, they feel great pulled out during orgasm. Same with a partner, but I also found that they made an excellent butt-plug alternative, and my partner said he could feel the beads when he was inside me and that it felt great. I myself was in heaven, because the beads add multiple points of stimulation during penetration. Given the floppiness of the string (it's all TPR silicone), I don't think you would have much luck pulling them in and out, but I didn't mind.

These were my first anal beads, and I have to say that this whole genre of toy is fabulous. They're so stimulating going in, being in, and coming out. I recommend everyone give them a try.

Overall, these beads are a lovely addition to my toy box, and are wonderful, inexpensive beginner anal beads. I would certainly recommend them to anyone who doesn't have too sensitive a booty.
Follow-up commentary
These berries don't make it out of the toy box every night, but I still love to bust them out every once and a while for a bumpy thrill. They have stayed in good shape through multiple uses and have been easy to clean. Overall, a good solid toy.
