Designed for prostate massage, the LX-3 gives you quality materials, strong vibrations, a rechargeable battery, and dual stimulation all in one toy. The LX-3+ takes all the qualities of the LX-3 and adds more girth and overall size. It's perfect for those that like a bigger toy.

Charge up the battery, select a quality oil or water based lube, and slide this bad boy in. Does it get any easier than that? All you have to do is decide what intensity of vibration you want to use; since the vibes go from low to high, you should have no problem finding a setting you like.

While this P-spot toy is designed for anal/prostate play, it certainly does not stop there. The "L" shape also lends itself to vaginal/clitoral stimulation as well.

A velvety smooth silicone outer layer over a firm plastic core makes up the LX-3. The silicone has a matte finish, colored in black. No seams can be found, and only the charge port and "Lux" logo mar the finish; these are on the non insertable surface. The silicone is only a coating and, while there is a small bit of give to it the toy, it is rigid like hard plastic.

One difference between the LX-3 and the LX-3+ is that the perineum portion is not flexible on the 3+. This may be good or bad for some users. I find the lack of flexibility makes it easier to manipulate the toy when focusing on the prostate, but it does make it slightly less comfortable if you are sitting on it.

The LX-3+ has a basic "L" shape; the long leg is the insertable portion, while the short leg provides the perineum stimuli. On the back of the "L" there is a small wing that keeps the toy from sliding into the anus. Both legs have a bulge; the long leg's bulge provides the P-spot its stimulation as well as a "full feeling" to the rectum. The top of the long leg has a nice taper for easy insertion, while the bottom of this leg narrows down to a small neck to help keep it in. The short leg is shaped the same with a bit more of a curve; this end can also be inserted if you want.

The insertable section measures 4" long with a 1 1/4" diameter (4 1/4" cir.). The diameter is a bit hard to measure. If you were to cut this section and take the measurement, you would get 1 1/4", but when inserting the toy, the shape of the top makes it so that you are actually inserting 1 1/2" of diameter. Either way I can tell it is bigger than its little brother, the LX-3. The perineum leg is 2" long and has a 1 1/8" diameter. The "back" leg protrudes about an inch off the back.

On the bottom of the "L" there is a small bulge where the On/Off button is located; this bulge will light up red when the vibe is on. Press the bulge down quickly to turn on the vibes, press it quickly again to turn it off. To adjust the intensity, you press and hold the bulge: the longer you hold it the stronger the vibes become. If you want to go to a lower setting, you have to turn it off and start over. The button is pretty easy to press. I have had times when the button gets pressed during use, like when I sit on it.

A nice addition to the Lux line of massagers is a "lock" setting. This is done by pressing the On/Off button three times quickly. The button's light will come on briefly to let you know it is locked. This locks the control for storage or travel (remember the button is easy to press). To unlock it, press the button three times fast again. Once again, the light will come on, letting you know it is unlocked.

The vibes come via the PowerBullet, just like all the other toys in the Lux line. This bullet provides rumbly vibes, is infinitely adjustable, and is super quiet. The PowerBullet is housed in the perineum section, so you will get the most intensity here. One nice thing about the LX-3+ versus the LX-3 is that the firm core allows the vibes to travel to the insertable section much better. I still wish the bullet was in the insertable section, though.

The LX-3+ is very comfortable to wear long term and stays in for the most part. During sex there are some positions where it wants to slip out, but nothing to really complain about.

The Li-Ion battery lasts for a loooong time, I can easily get three or four uses out of it before I notice a drop in power. Charging it is super easy too: just insert the charge jack and plug it into the wall outlet. The red light comes on to let you know it is charging and turns off when charging is complete.

Since the LX-3+ is totally waterproof, cleaning is a snap. Toy cleaners, antibacterial soap, or a 10% bleach solution are fine to use. About the only thing you can't do is boil it; well, it is a vibe after all.

Oil and water based lubes are suitable for use. Some silicone based lubes may be compatible too, but you should spot test first to be sure.

Storage can be done in the supplied box, a zip top bag, or drawer/toy box. Just make sure not to store it with dissimilar materials.

With a name like Lux, you expect a nice storage container, eh? Well, BMS Enterprises does not disappoint. You get a hard sided box (think cigar box) with a flip top lid. Inside the toy and charger are nestled in a dark grey foam to hold them in place. The Lux logo, along with "Male Stimulator" and "Silicone" are on top, making it not the most discreet. On the front side of the box is a ribbon like sticker that holds the top down: this must be cut to open the box when you first get it (kind if like a safety seal). If you happen to have two or more of the Lux toys, this also helps you to know which is which.


You get an instruction manual written in different languages along with a flier showing the Lux line of toys.

I love my LX-3; about the only thing I wish was different about it is the size. What can I say, my ass loves bigger toys. So, getting the LX-3+ with its bigger size was awesome. Add the lack of flexibility to the LX-3+, and it's even better. Not that the LX-3 is not a joy to use - it's just the better control of the insertable section is nicer.

My only complaint is the vibe placement; it really should be in the insertable section. This would make more sense for a "prostate massager", eh? Even better would be to have a vibe in both places! Like I said before, it is nice to have the firm core so the vibes travel to the insertable section, it's just not enough for me.

I take a star off for the vibe placement, other than that this is a top notch toy suitable for anyone looking for rumbly vibes and a dual stimulating design.
