Teeny Tiny and Semi-Dangerous!
Tiny, miniature, small, super little; all words that describe this plug. Also, unsafe. Unless you are a complete virgin to anal play do not attempt to put this in your butt as a plug. It will most likely slip and go in, which could be very bad.Published: September 4, 2011

What do you look for in a plug?
I look for three things, Good material, Safe Shape, and Price.
Material:
This plug has the ideal material rating for anal play. A full 10 on the Eden safety scale. This is a big deal. This plug is made of pyrex glass and will not harbor bacteria. It is safe to share this toy and this toy can be completely sanitized.
However, being glass this toy has no give. It will not bend to fit your body. It is hard rigid glass. This also means that it is super smooth. It requires very little lube and will store easy. This makes it great for travel! Especially since you can use any lubricant you want with glass!
Safe Shape:
This is where things get murky for the Royal Intruder. Sure it has a base, but with it being 3 1/2 inches long and 3 inches being insertable, there is only 1/2 an inch of safety!
Also, at the largest point the Royal Intruder is 4 inches around, and the base is 4 1/2 inches around. That is only a 1/2 an inch difference in size! Are you an anal virgin? Then there is a chance this toy will benefit you. Can you take something bigger than 4 1/2 inches? Than this plug is probably not the safest anal toy for you.
For a first glass plug, this toy is plausible. For someone that has shove anything in their ass before, you'll probably be bored if this design. It is hard to keep the plug in your butt. There is no neck. Nothing to taper the head to the base. Just head then base. No graduation.
If you can't keep something from sliding into or out of your ass why would you even attempt to put it in your ass? Bottom line, you shouldn't!
Price:
I like to compare price to size.
The Royal intruder is $24.99, and only 3 1/2 inches long.
That is $7.14 per inch.
Is it worth that amount? For a plug you'll probably grow bored of, or require a better challenge shortly after use, no. If it offered more than a very small stepping stone into anal play, then yes, but it doesn't.
It is a VERY small smooth plug, that isn't worth the price it is being sold for. The coloring isn't enough to save this pint-sized disaster.
If you're looking to buy this toy, I'd look for a toy that you'll use longer, like something bigger, with a safer base.

Experience
This toy is more like every beginner's dream, and less like a toy that will blow your mine. On top of the size issue the base being unreliable is just another stab into the "never buy this toy" category.

The unsafe neck on this really pretty butt plug is one fatal flaw that just can not be ignored. While it does still look pretty in my drawer of glass toys, it doesn't get any use, it is merely a bright blue paperweight.

You know you're a size queen when you figure out the price per inch lol I don't like long toys, so a lot of length actually takes away from a toy's value for me.
you'd think that since I'm a size queen I'd use the real size indicator thing that EF offers, but no I never do, and then I get a toy and I'm upset over the size! haha!
