The Butt Exploring Trio

These plugs are great if you are new to the world of butt plugs and looking to experiment with a few different shapes. They are small enough to not be too intimidating and can be very enjoyable.

Use

The Beginner anal kit is a kit of three small sized silicone butt plugs. All three plugs vary in shape, size, and color making this kit prefect for beginners who are just starting to experiment with butt plugs and/or are unsure of what their preferences are. These plugs are an ideal purchase for a first set of butt plugs as they are cheap and made of body safe silicone unlike many others small sized plugs available. I could see these being used in solo play and couple play alike if you are interested in that. These are the first butt plugs I have owned, and honestly I am no expert in the butt plug area but I feel these are a great start.

Material / Texture

The texture of all three of these plugs is 100% silicone. Silicone is silky soft, has no taste or smell, doesn't have a dragging feeling, is one of the safest materials available, and feels great in comparison to other materials. I am glad I got silicone plugs as my first plugs because I can not imagine any plastic/rubber/other material feeling good up in the area at all. The plugs are firm but with a rough squeeze they have a little give. The bend-ability of these plugs varies due to the different shapes, the black and purple ones bend a bit more than the pink because they do not have the ridges.

Here are some pics that show how bendable each plug is:

Design / Shape / Size

I love the unique design and shape each of these plugs have. One thing that really caught my eye and persuaded me to get them as my first plugs is that none of them are are completely round shaped without any tapering or texture. They all taper very small at the tip and either have ridge or a nice gentle curve to them. All three have a nice big flared base so you know they are not going anywhere!

I thought it would helpful to talk about each plug individually(categorized by color) and share my experiences:

Purple-I think the most beginner friendly of these would be the purple one, as it starts off the smallest and doesn't have a big curve or a bunch of ridges. The tip is super small making it very easy to insert and the body of the plug is very gradual. The only part of this plug that may be a little challenge to a beginner is the one bump at very bottom. The bump/ridge is no wider the the rest of the plug, but it is an interesting sensation if you are not used to it. This plug is favorite for all the above mentioned reasons!

Black- The black plug is pretty similar to the purple except having a wide curve in the middle. The tip is only slightly wider than the purple but still pretty easy to insert. While the body of this one is a lot less gradual, it goes from slim to full width without much tapering. I personally found this plug to be a little much mostly because at the very bottom there is a ridge the pops out on one side that feels kind of odd to me.

Pink- I am really undecided on how I feel about this one. I want to like it, I think I may kind of like it, but damn it just feels so different. Compared to the others this one is very different in shape and feel. Once again the tip is small and comfortable, but once you get past the tip you are in for a bumpy ride. The sensation of "popping" that the ridges make is one I've never felt before, so of course I found it a bit odd. I think this kind of plug is maybe not for everyone but hey, worth a shot!

Performance

The best thing about this set is versatility of having three to choose from! It's a great deal for three great products and it's always nice to have a little variety in life...yes even when it comes to butt plugs. These lived up to my standards of being my first butt plugs and I really enjoyed experimenting with the difference of the three.

Care and Maintenance

I found these, like most of my silicone toys to be very easy to clean and care for. I am big fan of Edens wipes so my go-to method is to wipe down my toys good with one of those. If wipes are not your thing, gentle soap and water will do the trick. Be sure to thoroughly clean around the base and especially the ridges on the plugs. As far as storing goes, these plugs are pretty small and easy to stow away in a small drawer. I keep mine stashed away in my lube drawer. Speaking of lube...LUBE LUBE LUBE! As with any anal play, we all know the importance of lube, right? Being made of silicone use water based lube only with these. (silicone based will ruin them!) I just got some Liquid Silk along with these plugs and highly recommend it for a nice feeling water based lube.
