The Prowler is a handy vibe that can be used externally or internally. You can use it vaginally or anally. It's up to you. Keep in mind that ridges can hold fluids, so you'll want to keep that in mind when choosing which hole to put in. You can use it vaginally but the lack of curve may not full your needs. Using it on your clit may work for you, if you like strong thuddy vibrations. Anally is where this toy really shines. You can if for external warm up, and with a little lube you work it into your butt hole. If you're never tried a toy of this girth, don't be scared. It has no give and is completely rigid. The first silver piece is at the base of the insertable portion of the vibe. This is not where you unscrew the toy. So don't get forceful, you'll just end up breaking it. The second silver piece is an end cap. It tops the dial control at the base of the handle. There is no texture to the insertable end of the vibe, it's completely smooth. It is a girthy toy, but the fact that it's smooth, will help a tenacious beginner/intermediate player into some anal fun.

There is texture on the very end of the handle. Two different set of lines, and this is because they are two different pieces. The larger portion is the twist off end for the batteries. The smaller lines are the dial control. The lines makes it easy to grasp, if you hands get lube or bodily fluids on them.

The design of the Prowler reminds me of the light wands the guys at the airport use to direct planes. There is an o-ring at the bottom of the thread, that makes The Prowler waterproof. When you look at the inside of the removable end, you'll see a spring. This lets you know that the batteries are to be loaded "+" side downward.

After wiping down this toy, I unscrewed the end and placed in the two AA batteries. I twisted the dial controller, and was almost disappointed. The vibrations have a deep rumble to them. Not the usual slow rumble I've experienced in other vibes, but a quicker. As you twist the dial, the vibrations accelerate smoothly. The lowest vibration that it puts out, isn't that intense. The highest is enough to vibrate your wrist, if you were to wrap your hand around the insertable end. You don't really feel the vibrations on the handle. The vibrations are strongest towards the tip and middle of the toy. The dial is on the small side, but it twists easy enough, regardless of what you have on your hands. When the vibe is lubed up and inserted, it sends vibrations that soothe and relaxes your butt hole. Great for a warm up for large toys or for the real thing. Also I found that if you've hand an uncomfortable experience, that the vibrations of this toy takes the pain away. The toy's handle makes this easy to use by yourself, as it allows you to grip easily. It also makes it easy for your partner to grip and maneuver it. Externally the vibrations are extremely stimulating. They broad area that it covers may deter some, but for others this may be exactly what they're looking for. The toy is on the loud side, and could be heard through the bedroom door. If you were to turn on a low volume TV, it would be impossible to discern it.

Caring for this toy can be tricky. If you use it externally, all you need to do is wipe it down with an Eden wipe, baby wipe, soap and water, or isopropyl alcohol. If you were to use it internally, you're going to want to take extra care of the spots where the silver plastic meets the insertable portion of the vibrator. It may collect bodily fluids or debris. I didn't experience this, but it could happen.

Storing this toy is easy. First of all, you're going to want to remove the batteries to ensure that they don't leak and ruin your toy. Second, you can store this toy anywhere. If you store it in a place that isn't isolated, you're going to want to wipe it down before use.

The packaging for The Prowler is a simple clear plastic clam shell with a little piece of paper stating the names and some highlights about the toy. At the bottom, in the same area as the toy is a small leaflet telling you how to put the batteries in the toy. I found this to be a hassle and too large to use for storage. So in the recycling bin it went.

The first time I gave this toy a go, it was clitoral. I was impressed, but found it kind of large. Then I had it laid out next to some rather large dildos I was going to take on anally. Well, I tried a toy that made my butt scream in pain. I know it sounds odd that after I get butt hurt, that I would stick another one in there, but I did. I turned the vibe on and all of my pain went away. I was left feeling great! I felt full and comfortable. The vibrations internally were diminished but definitely still present.
