The Good Wood

It is an investment; but I highly recommend it. I have enjoyed it for a few years now, and it's still one of my top choices.

Use

My most favorite plug of all. I got turned on just thinking about it while writing this and had to put it to use! I love the feeling of it, it's inviting to put in, not a challenge, and then feels fulfilling. It starts off cool, but warms to the body quickly.

Material / Texture

The wood is simply amazing. Each one has a unique wood grain pattern; my favorite is the Cocobolo wood pattern, reddish brown and dark brown striped.

Design / Shape / Size

It has the aesthetics of a Henry Moore sculpture, with an eco-friendly mind and a beautiful feel to it. What I enjoy most about it is the care for the design of this toy. How many toys can you say are so beautiful that you would want to put it on display?

Performance

It's a nice toy to use as a starter, but it can also last. Sometimes I like to use it solo, but it's also great for being with your partner. It wiggles nicely when you move your hips, but doesn't come out of place.

Care and Maintenance

I usually prefer silicone toys because of their durability and ease of care, but the toys from Nob Essence are an exception. It's not really harder to wash, but it requires some care. Wash with water and soap, I don't think a dishwasher would be a wise choice.

Packaging

Nob Essence makes their toys feel premium, with a beautiful/discreet box.

Experience

I had the tough choice of figuring out what I was going to travel with, and I decided on bringing this toy over all others. It's discreet form makes it look like a simple sculptural figure, and raised no questions as I flew internationally (sometimes to nations that frown upon sex toys).

      Regardless, lube lube lube. There's more but that's the most important.
    • Buy anal toys that have good heads, long slim necks, and good bases to prevent the entire toy from slipping inside you. Start nice and slow with a finger before using an actual toy, and with lots of lube.
