The O-ring Silicone Anal Beads are exactly as they are named. Silicone anal beads. Meant to be used, but not limited to, anal play. Because they don't vibrate, they're silent and they are great to use anywhere. The toy itself is a little flimsy, but the beads are solid, so there's some flexibility between each bead. There is a total of 4 beads, the largest is the first one you insert and it measures 3.75 inches in circumference but it tapers so insertion is a breeze. Each bead after that gradually gets smaller. At the very end of the toy is a large finger ring. The O-ring is advertised as great for beginners, but I was a little intimidated when I first opened the package and saw that beast of a first bead. Even with the taper, I was very hesitant to give it a try. In fact, my O-ring sat in its package and haunted me for 3 days before I mustered up the courage to play around with it.

The O-ring is made of silicone, so it is smooth and non-porous, which is great for clean up. I didn't notice much of a smell when I opened the package. As I mentioned above, the toy is flexible between the beads, but the beads themselves are firm, which makes for easy insertion

So, here is where I had a little issue with the O-ring. As I said, it boasts being great for beginners. I'm not well-versed in the art of anal play. Literally, the extent of my experience was a very thin anal plug that vibrated and a finger here and there and, for the most part, I've enjoyed those experiences. So I was pretty excited about receiving this toy but as I said, when I opened the package and saw that the beads started off with the biggest and got progressively smaller, I was very intimidated. For something that is supposed to be great for beginners, it would make sense to me that the beads would gradually get larger, not the opposite.
With that said, the largest bead has a generous taper, so with a little lube and TLC, it actually slid in without only mild effort on my part. Obviously, with the largest of the beads in, the others were a breeze.

Initially, my husband attempted to insert the beads while in the doggie style position, but this proved to be difficult and he suggested that I try putting it in myself, since I knew my own comfort level. I found that the easiest position for me was laying on my side. Once the toy was in, we got back into doggie style and proceeded to have some really intense, great sex. Thanks to the large finger ring at the end of the beads, my husband was able to hold the beads in place.

So, obviously, the experience was different for both my husband and I. For me, it made everything feel tighter and there was more pressure, but good pressure. For my husband, it added extra texture and he said that the largest bead created a lot more pressure on the head of his penis, so his orgasm was very intense.

The O-ring is made of silicone, which is non-porous, so clean up is easy. I used soap and water to clean mine. You can toss yours in your dishwasher if you want. I would recommend storing it in a piece of cloth just to keep it clean.

As far as lube goes, we used good ol' KY and it worked great.

As I've said, I was intimidated by the size of the first bead on the O-ring, but it was actually very easy to insert, it wasn't painful at all and I rather enjoyed using it.
