I was never much of a chess player. A boyfriend tried to teach me one summer years ago, but... well, let's just say I was much too easily distracted. When I was told I'd be reviewing the Pawn butt plug, I really had to rack my brain to remember what exactly a pawn looks like. For those of you who, like me, were too busy playing doctor to learn how to play chess, let me describe it for you: three balls, with the largest ball closer to the base, and with ridges between each ball. Lovely.

Vixen's Pawn Plug, like all of their products, is 100% high-grade silicone. That's especially useful in a butt toy, since being able to disinfect it is important - with silicone, you can either boil it or toss it in the dishwasher. The silicone also makes the toy smooth and firm to the touch. Firm is what you want in an anal plug; slipping it past those strong muscles can be tricky with a floppy toy.

The balls and ridges made this toy feel amazing going in and coming out- a little water-based lube (or a lot - I like Liquid Silk) makes for smooth sailing. The flared base ensures that it won't slip all the way in and get lost, although there seems to be little risk of that with this toy - my only concern was that it didn't really want to stay put! Might be a little big for an anal beginner, but this is a perfect intermediate butt plug.
