I wanted to explore anal play through masturbation. I still remember being overwhelmed trying to find something to begin my anal journey, trying to decide what size, material, and style. I impulsively bought the plug after 10 minutes trying to find an anchor in the sea of beads and plugs. This was my first toy I bought for myself and a favorite so far.

Not only is it great solo, it's almost as good when playing with a partner. I say almost as good because it can fall out during double penetration depending on the position and force of thrusting, but it is easy to slip back in if properly lubed up.

Unlike the other reviewers I have not tried wearing the plug for any extended time, although I am encouraged to try soon given their experiences (e.g. buzzvibe's review). It might be a small toy, but it will not be lost in anal transit because of its flared base.

Oh... when I first touched the bulb of the plug I started to fall for its supple texture of silicone. It is not at all harsh in terms of friction, very gentle when inserting and taking out. The material stands out to me because I didn't think a sex toy could be so soft and hard at the same time.

To give you a recap of the measurements:
The insertable length is 3" with its total length being 3 1/4". In contrast the circumference is 2 3/4" with a diameter of 3/4".

I think the size is spot on because the product is marketed as a small butt plug. Yes, it might be smaller than other beginner style anal plugs; that's why I picked it out of a slew of other products in the store. Also because I kinda got this futuristic sci-fi vibe of a sex toy I could imagine finding in a starship cabin because of its sleekness. This is a great toy if you want something comparable to a female index finger in toy form. When traveling this toy is easy enough to stow away in a bag. At home this toy is not at all discreet, so best to keep it out of public sight.

What I found to work for figuring out which end of the base faces where was to have the larger end of the base between the cheeks and the smaller end towards the naughty bits. I agree that the flared base is a bit large in proportion to the insertable part and the length of the perineum. It might not be as overly large for a male perineum.

I am encouraged to use it as frequently as I can because of how quickly and hassle-free it is to clean. There are no crevices to fret about. The plug can be placed in the dishwasher, but I prefer to hand-wash or boil it. I store it in my small toy box when it has finished drying. It's compatible with water-based lubes and oil-based lubes; it is *incompatible with silicone lubes.

*This was confusing for me at first coming from a chemistry background... at the same time the principle is "like dissolves like", so dissolves in this situation=damages the plug's material.

The packaging was extremely helpful in the store, particularly because I wanted concise facts. Although there was not a pamphlet included on how to use the product, the back of the box highlights the product's specs. I would feel comfortable gifting the box because it has a streamlined, sturdy feel to it. I would not store my plug in the plastic box because of the logistics of prying it open each time... much better to keep it in a toy box.
