Use

This toy is designed to be used anally as something between a anal plug and anal beads. Personally, I think it is the best of best worlds! This can be worn while having sex with a partner or used alone during some solo play. It is flared at the bottom so it is safe for anal play. This toy can be used simply as a plug or for thrusting.

I have owned some lower grade silicone toys in the past and I thought that all silicone toys were created equal but boy was I wrong. I had read about the wonders of Tantus silicone toys but their is nothing like experiencing one. The package describes the material as hypoallergenic, phthalate free, odorless, boilable, bleachable, non-toxic and it promises that the material will not cause irritations, rashes, or infections. This toy is kinda large (see next section) but the silicone is soft yet firm meaning it goes in softly but holds its shape well once inserted.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is very well designed. It is not too long and not too wide, although I would not suggest this for beginners. It is 5.25" long with 4.75" insertable. The diameter at the widest point is 1.5" and it weighs just .4 lbs. This toy is not really discreet but not as obvious as a realistic dildo.

Performance

What makes this toy great is the high quality silicone that it is made from. This makes it very soft to the touch but it holds its shape very well. The flared base makes it anal safe and could be used with a suitable O-ring harness (we did not try this but plan to in the future). Another great thing about the high grade silicone is how well it transfers vibrations. Once it was inserted I grabbed my wife's Hitachi Magic Wand and as soon as the two made contact... WOW!!!

Care and Maintenance

Since this toy is high grade silicone it is non-porous and can be boiled for 3 minutes, placed in the top rack of the dishwasher, or simply washed with soap and water. Since it is silicone it should not be used with oil or a silicone based lube. A water based lube, such as Astroglide, works best.

Packaging

I usually do not comment on the packaging of a product but this one really impressed me. There were no pictures of sleazy women but rather it was packed in a nice, transparent plastic package which presented the actual toy as the focal point for the eye. Tantus also displayed its name on every side of the package which said to me that they were proud to stand behind their product.

This is still a great toy and transfers vibrations very well. If I had to do it all over again, I probably would have gotten a smaller size.
