Well this guy is very powerful; with just a twist of a dial you can go as slow or fast as you like to. Twist the dial to set your speed. Be warned though! The higher you set the dial the louder it gets. The batteries rattle around inside of the shaft and the motor rattles to. It is not a great sound at all. Once inserted, it seems to stop rattling, but otherwise it is not quiet.



The ribbed shaft is very nice and pleasant. The tapered tip is great for anal entry and it is a little too pointy to go vaginal. I still can’t get over the loudness. I wish it were quieter. Even behind closed doors it is loud without a TV or radio on to hide the rumble. It is definitely not a toy to play with when there is someone home unless they're helping you.



It is waterproof in the tub. It seems to be less rumbly in water and a little quieter. Remember this is only waterproof if the little rubber o-ring is in place. Always check to make sure it there. Again, it is not discreet enough for this girl. I like my vibrators quiet and discreet. I do not care to have my neighbors hear my vibrators. They already hear me enough.



The Colt Throbber has a good size and girth. It may be large for some. Throbber is long and has no stopper on the bottom.

When, I first opened the clear, plain package, the smell of the Throbber reminded me of WD40. It is not a strong odor. The odor does lessen after each wash. Clean with warm soapy warm or your toy cleaner. Always wash your toys before and after use.

It made me nervous at first sight because it is large and has a lot of ribs on the shaft. It is also very pointy at the tip. But it was nice.

This Colt Throbber is way too loud for my home. It's not discreet in any way. It has a lot of power, but with the power comes a lot of noise. It's not flexible, so there are few (if any) other uses with it. For vaginal use it's way too pointy. It's just not a toy I enjoy at all. I am not a big fan of anal use. I am more of a clit and g-spot person.
