Too Much of a Good Thing
NJoy makes great stainless steel toys. The Pure Plug 2.0 is not for the faint of heart or anal novices, but it certainly offers a stimulating experience. I prefer the NJoy Pure Plug med or large and if you really want more go for the 2.0.Published: October 3, 2008

I am a fan of all Njoy products--the design, material, sleekness, ease of use and pleasure they provide says it all. I purchased the NJoy 2.0 after enjoying the NJoy Pure Plugs, both medium and large. My thinking was that these two guys are so good the 2.0 must be fabulous and something to rock my world.
The NJoy 2.0 arrived in NJoy's sleek packaging, just inviting me to give it a try.
But first of all, I have to say I enjoy all things anal and usually enjoy anal penetration, with a plug, during vaginal sex, either with my b/f or solo with a vibe.
I removed the NJoy 2.0 and held it, I immediately sighed and said this guy is big and felt much heavier then my other two Pure Plugs. Nonetheless I prepared myself for a stimulating anal experience by lubing up my ass with Maximus and warming up with smaller plugs, my Ryder (Tantus) and Soft Serve (Vixen) and some solo play with one of my vibes. I held the Njoy in my hand, warming it up but at the same time thinking that this boy is big and heavy but beautiful.
I lubed him up, removed my "Soft Serve" and went for insertion... wow... I am not an anal novice but my ass did not accept this boy easily. With patience and persistence; success! I certainly was very aware of his presence, somewhat overwhelming but not uncomfortable with me lying down. The handle felt comfortable between my cheeks. The tip did add pressure to my vaginal wall near my g spot so I used a dildo to get me off, with a good O.
I eventually got up and walked around, the 2.0 stayed put... no suprise but I can't see me wearing the 2.0 for extended periods of time.
I do wear the Pure Plugs, either med or large (depends on the day) for extended periods of time... running errands, and going out to clubs...they provide an ongoing sense of tease and foreplay prior to some great sex later.
I can't see myself using the 2.0 in this way as I would find it more obtrusive then stimulating.
After my initial try with the 2.0, I had to introduce this guy to my b/f. He too is a fan of the Pure Plugs and does utilize them during sex and to just wear when driving at times. It was easier for him to take this guy then it was for me but he too felt it to be, too big and heavy for extended wear... even though it fits the same way as the other Pure Plugs.
Oh, I did try to have vaginal sex with my b/f with the 2.0 in place as I love the feeling of DP but as the 2.0 pressed on my vaginal wall it did make it tighter but penetration by my b/f was difficult. With the Pure Plugs large & med. things are tightened up which also heightens b/f's pleasure with the slight pressure of the Pure Plug on his member, but the 2.0 in me is too much for him. He does have a big head so this could be a factor.
Overall I enjoyed the 2.0 experience, have used it since, but the Pure Plugs med and large are my "go to" plugs.
As with all NJoy toys, clean up is simple, antibacterial soap and water, no abrasives and sterilized when shared.
I gave the 2.0 three stars. I love the NJoy line and appreciate that they reach with new designs but this guy may be just too much. I would suggest that if you haven't tried NJoy yet get the med or large Pure Plug and then assess your need for the 2.0.

I have had the NJoy 2.0 for six months now, and I am using it more frequently then I originally expected. My butt has become more acclimated toward larger toys and overall, the 2.0, just feels so good. I primarily use it in place during masturbation as it just provides delicious pressure from behind, toward my g-spot, that I am so ready for a strong g-spot orgasm with some vibe stimulation. It is also a great conductor of vibration when I hold a vibe vs the handle. It does stays put, and no need to move or thrust this guy.
It does restrict my vaginal wall enough that vaginal sex with my partner and the plug in place, doesn't work for us. But with the 2.0 in place for awhile, is an awesome warm-up for anal sex! My partner easily penetrates me and I am so ready... My b/f enjoys the 2.0 during his masturbatory sessions and has worn it during intercourse. He says his climax is more intense.

Nice review. Was the rippled design of the head noticeably different from the smooth large plug, or not?

The rippled design on the head felt no different to me then the smmoth head on the large plug. I think the 2.0 was designed with the rippled head to cut down on the weight and the am't of steele used.
I, anyway, can't see the 2.0 for extended ware but the other NJoys are awesome for both extented ware and DP.

It's good that you mentioned issues with extended wear, though. My expectations would be that this plug is as comfortable as the Pure Plug Large, if a bit larger, but I didn't consider the weight to be such a factor.
