Ultra Douche

There is nothing too complicated about this douche. As long as you like enemas, then this toy may be suitable.

Pros:
I like its simple construction. The tube is easy to insert.
Cons:
It cannot be properly sterilized. The inside of the bulb's opening makes cleaning it a chore.

Use

It's a squeeze-bulb douche for your rear-end. This novelty, from Cal Exotics, may be great for those who either enjoy enemas or are anal about clean anal. Ultra douche is easy and relatively safe to use. It's so easy that Cal Exotics does not give any instructions.

Material / Texture

The bulb and middle attachment are made of phthalate free pvc. The bulb is very soft and squishy, so that one can squeeze the water out. The smooth rubber has a bit of a smell that can cling to your skin, but the odor is not overwhelming. While it may be free of phthalates, the rubber parts cannot be sterilized.

The red nozzle is made of polypropylene (PP), which is a type of plastic. The tip of the nozzle has five holes from which the water comes out of and a few of the holes are placed in grooves. The tube itself is slim (less than 3/4 of an inch thick), smooth, slightly curved and firm for easy insertion. Anybody can use it.

The materials should be compatible with any kind of lube, but Cal Exotics recommends water based lubricants.

Design / Shape / Size

The full length is nine inches. The bulb is slightly smaller than a baseball. Unless the douche is disassembled, it may take up some room in your storage case.

With the smooth texture, slim frame and firm material, the tube slides into the anus without any difficultly. The bulb is soft enough to be squeezed with one hand. The small indent on the bottom of the bulb allows the douche to stand on its own, but it is not very sturdy.

There is only one flaw in the design. Inside the opening of the bulb there is a lip, which can allow water and other things to get trapped inside.

Performance

The douche performed as intended. It can wash your butt. However, I do not like the lip because it can make clean up a bit more laborious. I also do not like the fact that the Ultra Douche cannot stand up well.

Care and Maintenance

Most of the clean up is a cinch. Warm water and soap should get the job done. Squeezing water out can clean the small holes. As mentioned before the inside of the bulb's opening can be annoying. Also, none of these parts can be sterilized properly.

Technically any kind of lube can be used for rubbers and plastics, but Cal Exotics recommends water based lubes. I do not know why.

Packaging

The toy comes in a non-discreet, plastic shell.

Experience

This is my first enema kit. It was awkward to use, but not difficult. I guess I am not that into enemas because it didn't feel good. I don't plan on getting more enemas and if I do, I think I will just get a disposable one. I personally do not find them useful or necessary. As long as you're regular, you're good to go.

I believe that this bulb will suck anal residue if you release the bulb while the tube is inserted. Yuk!
Disposable are so much safer and sanitary.

      If it's pleasurable is a matter of taste - but it's usually not necessary, even for anal sex. There's a lot of good information on the subjects that address many issues. :)
