Vibro Tease Is One Hell of a Tease

Made with beginners in mind, this toy will do a great job at introducing anyone to anal play. Despite its weak vibrations, it is non-intimidating, and even a more experienced user will enjoy it.

Use

California Exotics did it again: it got me my fair share of Vrooms. Here it comes (like us): the High Intensity Vibro Tease, which is one hell of a tease even if it's not "high intensity."

This anal vibrator comes in two parts, a TPE sleeve and a plastic, elongated bullet-like vibrator. You can use the bullet inside the sleeve for a vibrating butt plug, or use the bullet alone to stimulate the clitoral/nipple area, or even as an insertable mini-vibrator (vaginally only because it lacks a proper base). This toy is particularly great for anal beginners, being of modest size. Size queens will probably tend to feel empty.

It does vibrate only at one speed, which is very medium. Once inside you only feel subtle vibrations at the tip and a bit stronger vibrations at your entrance. The vibrations are not very powerful, they are even a bit weak if you use the sleeve, so skip this if you need a lot of power to get you off. As the name of this toy tells, it’s more of a tease if anything. It’s enough for those who are hypersensitive, but could not be enough for someone else.

This toy is waterproof, so you could bring it in the shower or bath for fun washtime, but I didn’t for my personal comfort. Also, it does retain temperature but very, very weakly, so it wouldn’t be a good choice for temperature play at all.

Material / Texture

This anal vibrator is made of very soft TPE (and guess what? No phthalates). The tip and the base are very flexible and have plenty of give for comfort, while the area where the vibrator is inserted is harder and has a little less give. The TPE has a bit of a drag, but nothing a little water-based lubricant can’t help. It also adheres to hair and lint, so it’s better to keep it in a case while not in use. TPE is more porous than silicone, so it’s recommended you use a condom when sharing between people or holes. You should not boil your toy, unless you want it to meet a premature, painful death. Instead of that, you should rub it sensually with mild soap or toy cleaner and rinse it under a stream of relaxing warm water.

Upon receiving the toy the material has a bit of a chemical scent if you put it right under your nose, but otherwise doesn’t smell much. We’ll see if after many washes the scent disappears or not. It doesn’t have much of a taste either, just a very small after-taste.

The texture of this toy is very beginner friendly. It’s completely smooth, so it won’t cause any discomfort in sensitive individuals.

The vibrator itself is made of ordinary plastic, so nothing special there.

Design / Shape / Size

This toy is very simple. It's sleek, translucent and has a large flexible base that will avoid any embarrassing emergency room stories. As mentioned before, the tip is flexible while the bottom of the stud is harder because of the vibrator. This is definitely a bonus for beginners: the tip will follow your curves, transmitting subtle vibrations to the softest spots, while the bottom of the plug will keep you grounded and relaxed with stronger vibrations. The size in itself is a blessing for beginners or people who need to work up to a larger size. Its 3.75" insertable length and small width make it perfect for anyone feeling cold feet about trying anal.

The toy is otherwise small enough to travel with, but definitely not discreet. Anyone who ever saw a buttplug will recognize what this is, being the same shape.

Also it states on the box that you can separate the sleeve from the vibrator: well, I tried and I must be a weakling, because I couldn’t. After many tries and desperate pulling, I finally did it, but it was not an easy task. Please note that you shouldn’t use the vibrator by itself in your butt. It lacks the appropriate base and may get sucked inside you.

The box states this toy is 3.75'' x 1'' or for people familiar with centimeters, 10cm x 3cm.

Functions / Performance / Controls

If used with the sleeve the vibrations are most felt at the base with subtle vibrations located at the tip of the plug.

The controls are very simple: a one-push button located at the base of the bullet. As said before, there is only one speed for the vibrations and they are not very powerful. However, the toy is very quiet. You couldn’t hear it behind a closed door. Hell, I doubt you’d even be able to hear it under thick covers if it was inside you.

The toy is waterproof, however I did not take it with me in the shower. It is a personal preference: the water dilutes the lube and then I get all uncomfortable. However I ran it thru a stream of water and it still worked like brand new.

Care and Maintenance

As mentioned before, you should not try boiling this toy. It’s not silicone, it will probably melt. Also, the vibrator may be waterproof, but boiling a toy with a motor can ruin it. On top of it, the vibrator is made of plastic, so boiling will probably distort its shape in some way. So don't do that.

I wouldn’t advise the use of strong chemicals such as sodium hypochlorite either. You are better off using plain mild soap and warm water, or a toy cleaner/toy cleaning wipe. Use condoms if you switch between holes or partners.

Keep away from lint and hair while in storage.

As a general precaution I never store any of my battery-operated toys with the batteries in, and I advise you do the same so the batteries won’t run out/do anything bad to your toy while you’re not looking.

Packaging

This toy came in a transparent plastic box with colorful decorations/writing on it and a plastic insert made to retain the toy inside.

Far from discreet, the box states things like "High intensity VIBRO tease. Increase the intensity of your pleasure with this extraordinary powerful probe." At least they don’t mention it’s an anal toy, but still. Otherwise, it’s perfect for storage, not being twice the size of the toy and all.

Follow-up commentary
I still like this product, but it hasn't become my go-to toy. TPE being porous, it kind of turns me off if I was to switch between holes. I also can't use condoms with it because I'm allergic to them. I also have toys that are more intense in the vibration area, so I tend to go to them if anything.

This is still a great toy, but since I have so much choice, it got forgotten a little.
