The Waverunner Vibrator is classified as an anal vibrator/vibrating anal plug. It would be better suited for vaginal play, if anything at all. This is due to its soft and sometimes floppy composition, which would disappoint anyone looking for toy that is easy to insert anally.

The Waverunner's odor is apparent almost as soon as its plastic packaging is opened. It could almost be described as an artificial fruity smell. I didn't consider the smell to be pleasant, but it wasn't that bad. Jelly, also known as Jel-Lee and AquaGel, is meant to be smooth and have a rubber-like texture to it. The Waverunner is one of these Jelly toys. When I pulled the package out of its discreet shipping box, I wondered if the toy was melting! It almost looked as thought the heat had gotten to it already, even though I had retrieved it from the porch immediately after the mail truck had departed.

Once I opened the package, however, I realized that what I thought I'd seen was just an illusion. However, I did notice that the tapered area right below the first graduated ball was very thin. It was even more obvious because the toy had been bent slightly at this area, most likely because of the way it had been packaged. I was almost afraid to touch the toy because this spot was so paper-thin, and I thought my nails would rupture the outer layer.

When viewed closely on the EdenFantasys website, the Waverunner does appear to be slightly thinner in this area. But my particular toy felt overly fragile, even for a Jelly. Other than its vulnerability, the texture is actually very smooth and pleasant. It's extremely porous. There is a hole at the top of the toy, as well as a larger one at the base. I was able to run water through the bottom and watch a decent-sized stream come out of the top. That's how big the hole is. I would assume that can present some issues with cleaning the toy, but I do know that the bottom hole is intended for the bullet that's included with the Waverunner. The texture would be suited for both advanced users and beginners.

The design is a decent one. The length and girth are nice, as well as the finger holds on the base of the toy. I would say it's a size that's more suited for advanced users. However, beginners would definitely have fun getting acquainted with this toy as well. It's not very discreet, and I don't think it would mesh well with travelers because of this.

The Waverunner comes with a nice little bullet that has a decent vibration, but not a strong one. Again, if you're looking for an obvious buzz in your butt, then this is not the toy for you. The bullet is supposed to be multi-speed, but I was unaware of this function and did not feel it at all, even when I attempted to adjust the speed. It simply remained at one steady pace. You can insert the bullet as far into the toy as you'd like, but be aware that you'll need lube to do this. It can also be difficult to get the bullet out. The little dial that is supposed to control the speed of the vibrations can stick sometimes, but at least the toy is not a noisy one.

Jelly toys can NOT be sterilized like silicone toys, so no boiling. NO BOILING EVER! And no sharing toys with others, unless you plan on using a condom when doing so. Warm water and toy cleaner is recommended for the Waverunner. Please be aware that there is a small hole at the top, and since this is the perfect place for bacteria and debris to collect, you must be extra careful to thoroughly clean this toy.

The Waverunner was packaged in plastic, but no instructions were included. The packaging would not be suitable for a surprise gift.

The Waverunner is going to be hard to insert - so use LOTS of lube and BE PATIENT!

I did not enjoy this toy nearly as much as I thought I would. I had a hard time getting it inside, and it kept wanting to slip out. It would need to be a little firmer in order to work for me.
