Bootie - small butt plug by Fun Factory - review by EffinSara

The Bootie is an anal plug that is suited both for stationary use and thrusting. The curve of this toy helps guide the thrusts so that it hits you in just the right spot (either G, through both vaginal walls, or P, if you are male-bodied). It is great for solo play, but as a female user it has not been so great for partnered PIV sex. The base is simply too long for that and partially blocks access to my vagina. It would, however, still be useful during oral sex. I have also found the Bootie to be great for extended wear and have had no problems wearing it around for hours at a time, even out of the house.

This toy is made out of 100% silicone, which means that it is odorless, non-porous, and pthalates-free. It is firm but somewhat flexible with some give. The surface is matte and soft to the touch.

The Bootie has a wonderful shape. I think that it's what I like best about this toy. The bulge pushes right on my G-spot once inserted, and the curve makes insertion easy. I start insertion at an angle and tilt the plug to match the curve as it goes in. The base is long and thin and sits right up against my body. I barely notice the external portion when wearing it around. The size is great for more "casual" play situations, like when you don't want to take the time to work up to a big plug or probe. This also makes it a great choice for those new to anal play.

It did everything it was supposed to do. It put pressure on my G-spot, and I had no problems with it falling out or getting sucked into my body. The asymmetrical design of the Bootie was interesting as I could feel my muscles working around it; they never quite settled all the way, but not in a bad way. Despite its diminutive size, the Bootie is not a toy you will forget is in. Again, I was a bit disappointed that it would not give me access to my vagina, but still enjoyed this plug during solo play.

The Bootie is 100% medical-grade silicone and is supposed to be very easy to clean and is able to be completely sterilized. Cleaning the Bootie is the same as cleaning any other silicone toy: you can wash it with soap and water, bleach it, boil it, or run it through the dishwasher without soap.

However, I have had a hard time getting the Bootie completely clean. After washing it, boiling it, and bleaching it, it still smells like a butt. It's gotten better the more I clean it, but I am a little disappointed. I am not sure whether this is the fault of the toy or because I used it for an extended period of time. I have not tested any other plugs for extended periods so I can't compare yet.

This toy should not be used with silicone-based lubes without a spot-test. I have no silicone-based lubes in the house at the moment to test it with, so I have no idea what kind of compatibility it has. To be on the safe side, use a water-based lube.
