With patience it works.
I would buy one of these again. It will work, given enough patience, and time. While some would argue against spending time with this guy, I feel it did its job, and if it were made of different material, I'd keep it.Published: February 8, 2010
Pros:
Soft, realistic looking
Cons:
Material safety, difficult to store and clean.
This beginners anal toy needs a lot of patience for entry. While it provides the necessary softness for beginning anal play, it falls short of being rigid enough for easy entry. The overall size, 6" length, and diameter, 1", are the right size to start anal play.
The material is not a good choice, as cleaning is paramount and a good toy cleaner with a bleach solution is needed. This toy is porous, it also must be coated with corn starch before storing in the toy box, out of the sunlight, not in contact with the other toys. It is probably best to use a condom for overall safety, and ease of cleaning. Water based lube is the only lube to be used, as the chemical reaction is not good. Do not boil, or microwave, and I only wash dishes in my dishwasher.
This toy will, if used with patience being paramount, introduce anal play gently. Just remember to "relax", and take it slow and easy. The base is somewhat flared to prevent "loss of the toy", and the length is compatible with most anal toys, providing some length for "stroking". I had some difficulty with the toy sticking to the wall, so would not recommend that feature, mine just wouldn't stick.
This is not a keeper for me, just an experiment into anal play, and I will discard mine shortly. Too bad, because the idea is a good one, the diameter and length perfect, just a poor selection of material. Perhaps Doc Johnson will read this review and make another out of a safer material. I do like some of the detail, and it is pleasant to look at, if it were only made of something safer. Also a larger base with a suction cup would be a benefit. At the price, though...

I'm a little ... confused. Or if I'm just being sensitve, ok, someone say so.
But I recently reviewed the "Blush UR3 anal starter probe". Giving it no stars and what I would consider a very detailed review of everything that's wrong with it. And yet:
1 votes useful
2 votes worth reading, but not useful
I just want to make sure people are voting on the review, and not the product! Because my point of course, was that the product was not useful - so far my feedback has not reflected what was so poor about my review. So, a little help here. If my review was truly all that bad, tell me what you felt was lacking so that I can improve.
Thanks -
I'm not sure what is up with that but I have particular things I look for in all reviews and you covered pretty much all of it. You talked about the texture, smell, type of material, the length and width of the toy, and gave your experience with it. The only thing you didn't mention was suggesting the use of a condom on the toy seeing as it is madde of a porous material and cannot be sanitized but overall it was rather good. Don't worry about it we all get a few of those.

Don't worry about it. I did for a while after every single review was hit with "not useful at all" votes but I got over it. You just have to let it roll off your back. Some people vote down for numerous different things so just keep yourself open to feedback and start threads such as "how can I improve", etc. We'll be honest.

Thank you for viewing Blush UR3 anal starter – sex toy review page!

I know this is considered an "anal starter" but is the base flared enough for safe play? By the image, and images can be deceiving, but it does not look it.
Its a nice review, I suggest the Extended format, it helped me out a ton, it just helps remind you of things to put in your review
I like the size of this one - too bad it's difficult to care for.
Thanks for the review.
Nice review!
