Ribbed dildo with balls - probe discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Ward

I recently received my Ribbed Dildo with Balls After and I waited with high hopes that this would be the toy; a great toy at a great price. When it showed up at work, I have to admit I was a little shocked when I picked up the box. It was big, really big 2’x 6” x 9”. When I picked it up it had some heft to it too. With the shipping box it had to weight 3.5 to 4 lbs, and nothing in the box moved when I shook it. It arrived in the morning and all day it sat in my office taunting me. Once I got it home, I immediately opened it up and my first reaction was WOW! This beast was huge. First it weighs 2.5 lbs. It’s 14” long and the head alone is 2 3/8” in diameter. I have to admit I was a little intimidated but very intrigued. It came in a simple pressed plastic container. I opened the package up I was hit with this really strong cheep cherry / rubber smell. I didn’t really worry about it, I figured it would clean off anyway. I took the dildo out and cleaned it completely with soap and hot water. The dildo itself was actually quite flexible and soft to the touch. It didn’t feel cheep or poorly made, in fact my reaction was quite the opposite.

Ok before you start, lube, lots of lube. I would use only water based lubes with this toy. Second go slow, start with a smaller toy to get warmed up and then proceed slowly. After a suitable warm up I decided to go for it. One thing about this toy is that the head is stubby. It’s only about 2” long before you are at the 2 3/8” diameter ring, it gets wide really fast. When that ring finally drops in… WOW!!! The feeling almost brought me to my knees. It felt amazing. You go from 2 3/8” to 1 3/4” in an instant, and after cresting that 2 3/8" hump, 1 3/4” feels small. At this point I started to get that full feeling which is crazy considering this is a 14” long toy and I was only 3” along. After getting used to the feeling of the head I decided to go for rib #2. This rib is not like the first rib at all. Rib one is almost cone shaped so it builds then snaps in to place. Rib 2 is more round and bulbous and just as staggering. It starts at 3” down from the tip and gradually grows from 1 3/4” to 2 1/4” and back for 3” inches. So if you do the math you are now only 6”, not even half way. Talk about a full feeling… WOW it felt awesome too. I did attempt to go for rib 3 but there was no more room and it started to feel a little uncomfortable. If there is one thing I’ve learned when playing with sex toys, especially anal toys is never force them in. The human body can only do so much. You do not want to rupture or hurt yourself down there. I believe there are some people who can take the whole thing but I don’t think I’m not one of them. 14” is a long way to go. The orgasm was amazing. During the big moment rib # 2 worked its way out and then stopped at rib one. Finally, a toy that lives up to its expectations. Oh one other thing, it was fun to use hot water and cold water. The temperature added a nice little twist.

Though minor, I do have a few issues with The Ribbed Dildo with Balls. First and worst: that darn cherry smell. I left the toy in my toy box overnight and after cleaning it twice my closet stank like cheep cherry perfume. I ended up moving my toy box to the garage it was so bad. Second, a good suction cup base would be an awesome addition to this toy. Its length makes it awesome to maneuver over but if it could be made to stay in place… that would rock.

Overall, I really like The Ribbed Dildo with Balls. It’s exactly what it says it is and its price is very reasonable. It's easy to clean with mild soap and hot water. If share this toy I would use a condom on it because rubber is porous. I would also recommend using water based lubes. It is not a toy for the beginner, it is really big and you need to be really patient while using it. Honestly, I would have given this toy a 5 star rating but smell is really annoying... and I rarely give 5 stars.

Ok so I still like this toy, it's big and it's fun but the smell issue is not getting any better. Unfortunately,I still can't keep this toy in the house. Any room it's in or anything it touches for an extended period of time takes on a cherry smell. Unfortunately, what would have been a five star toy for me is now only a 3 star toy. It's fun but its a real drag keeping it in the garage... where you can still catch a whiff of it even though its completely cleaned then wrapped in a towel, inside of two plastic bags, and in a closed cardboard box. Oye!
