The Explore BDSM kit comes with everything you will need to introduce yourself or a significant other to the world of bondage. The kit includes four cuffs, two tethers, and a blindfold. The cuffs, tethers, and blindfold are constructed of neoprene and nylon. The tethers are secured to the cuffs using the included metal clasps.

The kit is available in three colors, black, purple, and red. We chose the red package and were pleased with the vivid color. After months of use there is no fade or change to the color. Everything comes in one box and is easy to unpack; you will be ready to play in under a minute.

The cuffs are secured used a very strong Velcro strap. The inside of the cuffs is lined with neoprene which makes it extremely soft to the touch and good for extended wear. There are four cuffs included with the package but that in no way hinders the possibilities. The tethers are long enough for even a hog-tie. After months of use I have yet to exhaust my options.

When I first saw the kit on the site I thought it might be a little cheaply constructed to be used for actual BDSM play. Even after receiving the kit I didn’t truly give it a vigorous testing. Tonight, before writing this review, I strapped the cuffs to my wrists. I put all my strength against them, until my face literally turned an amusing shade of red and my arms began to shake as a result of my strenuous attempts to break free. Alas, the cuffs withstood my very serious effort of dominating them. It is an ultimate case of the old saying, “Looks can be deceiving”.

The only thing not included with this kit that I think is a requirement of any BDSM drawer is the ball gag. If you do purchase this kit I recommend getting a mouth gag to go along with it.
