The Crave line of restraint and bondage gear is quickly becoming my favorite line. This collar is a great introduction to any toy collection for many reasons. I recommend it for both beginners and experienced kinksters because it is so easy, fun, and exciting to use. The clamps are adjustable, so you can adjust to how tight they clamp down. Even though the chain for the clamps down come off of the collar, you can still use the collar for a leash.

In my opinion, the design is superb. The collar is sexy, titillating, and sensual. The collar is made of a soft, pliable leather. The outside is smooth and treated, with a bright purple finish, while the inside is greyish and grainy. Unlike the other gear from Crave, it is not fur-lined on the inside, which is a shame because that would have made the collar more comfortable and fun. The buckle is easy to use and implements the same overlapping design as the Crave cuffs that allows for easy adjustment and comfort so that everything feels great. The chains that come down off the collar are long, which is nice because the cold chains feel good on the skin. The only problem I have with the clamps is that they are really small, so it takes a lot of adjusting to get them to stay on. Once they are latched on, however, they feel amazing. What I love the most are the little screws that allow you to tighten the clamp. When I use nipple clamps, my nipples often go numb after a while, and tightening the clamps brings on a whole new wave of pleasure for me.

To be honest, I have always had a love/hate relationship with clamps. Usually they are either too strong or not strong enough, and it is hard to find ones in between that work for me. The nipple clamps on this collar are the closest thing to perfect that I have yet to find. I wish the clamps were wider, which would make it easier to latch them on but other than that, I'm enamored with them. The collar itself fits wonderfully, and adjusts well. Plus, I have the matching wrist and ankle cuffs, and the whole set is fantastic.

Cleaning the collar and clamps is really easy. Just use a wet wipe, warm water, or even non-toxic leather cleaner to remove anything from the collar. Washing the chain or clamps is as easy as washing them with soap and water and thoroughly drying them afterward to make sure they don't rust. Storage is simple and doesn't really require much more than the space it will take up.

The product is packaged in a clear plastic container, so I wouldn't recommend it for gifting. Also, it's not really ideal for storage, so I would just go ahead and recycle it. There weren't really any instructions, but usage is very intuitive, so I doubt it's necessary.

I have only two complaints about this product: I wish it was fur-lined on the collar since it has a tendency to rub the delicate skin on the neck raw after prolonged use, and I also wish the clamps were bigger. Other than that, this is an excellent collar and I recommend it to all my friends at my BDSM group, and they agree that it is a wonderful device.

In my experience, this is a great teaser when you're in full bondage. My partner loves to use the under-the-bed restraints, blindfold me, and gag me, then while the clamps are on, gently tug at the chain or use a vibe on the clamps.
