Lacy pearl wrist cuffs by Cal Exotics - review by oopsy

This is a pretty straight forward set of beginner cuffs, much more for appearance than actual restraint. They are very feminine and quite pretty, but because they tie off with velcro, they are easy to adjest, and very easy to get out of.

The two cuffs are velcro with lace sewn to the outside (unfinished lace I might add, so they were already fraying when I opened it, and it was so sloppily cut that it was jagged and noticeably uneven. If they had lasted longer, they would have been fairly uncomfortable and scratchy against the skin as well. They will likely fit all users, because of the adjustable features. There are bows attached where the pearls are tied to the cuffs as well, and they look a little busy on the lace, and a little cheep as well.

The seems where the Velcro is sewn to the lace are wobbly, the lace looks like it was trimmed with a chainsaw, and the bow is just tacky and out of place, simply thrown on to cover the cheep and lazy attachment of the pearls to the cuff. Maybe the pearls could be used to make a costume necklace, they were rather shiny and decent looking.

Awful! Before even bringing these into the bedroom I tried them on, so get an idea of the look. I gently tugged on them to gague how much they could take, and without even tugging, or putting much pressure on them, one of the strings came undone from the lace cuff. The pearls are strung onto a fishing wire, which is simply tied to a loop on the cuffs, and fishing wire come untied so easily, it's really a horrible design. It is impossible to tie it back on as well, because there isn't enough extra wire, so I had to try to sew it together, which doesn' tw ork well, still wont hold up to any semblance of rough play, and takes more time than these tacky things were ever worth.

I didn't get a chance to care for them, but these would likely need just a damp toweling around the cuffs to clean them, nothing too abrasive and nothing too rough.

They came in a box with a picture of a woman 'duck lipping' at the camera while holding wearing these. It is certainly not discreet, but it was nice for display and presentation if you are looking for a gag gift. It was cardboard and can be recycled.

They are very cheep, but unless they are purely a gag gift, or just for some dirty pictures, I would not buy them, they are fairly tacky, extremely poorly constructed, and fell apart in 2 minutes flat.
