The Spartacus ball gag with buckle is a mouth gag for those who have the erotic desire of being gagged. It can easily be used during intercourse, foreplay, or any other way you can think of. Because of the design it is not something that the gagged person can wear to give oral sex, since the ball is in the mouth making it unavailable, but the entire gag is easily removed by the buckle.

Due to the size of the ball on this gag, it is more for those who have larger mouths and those who enjoy not being able to open the mouth at all. This ball completely fills the mouth and leaves you fully gagged. This ball gag in particular is not the best for beginners, since a beginner would not be use to the gagging feeling and the size of this ball could be a bit overwhelming for someone's first attempt. However this would make a great addition to complete any bondage set.

The Spartacus ball gag is well made to last a long time. There are three total straps to make up the band, which is 22” long and 1” thick. The first strap is 9.5” long with 11 total holes in it and the end is cut at a point to allow it to easily slide into the buckle. This strap also has two metal unsnappable buttons to hold onto a metal rectangular ring, which is attached to the center strap. The center strap is 5.5” total and has the ball on it. The ball is 6.25” in circumference with 1” tall and 1/8” wide rectangle tunnels cut out of it. The strap is through this tunnel cut out and the ball is able to slide side to side. This strap is held onto the metal rectangular rings by the same unsnappable buttons on both sides. Attached to the second rectangle metal ring is a 7” strap with the same metal unsnap-able buttons, but at the end is the buckle. The buckle is similar to what you would find on a belt buckle. At the very edge is a rectangle metal ring with a metal tab to go in the adjusted hole. Then is another rectangle ring for you to slide the strap into place.

The gag is really adjustable and should fit the majority of males and females, but the size of the ball is not something that all users will like. The smallest it can be adjusted is 18.5" and the largest is 23".

This gag is made up of three different materials: metal, rubber, and leather. The straps are leather and do have that lovely leather smell to them. They are really sturdy and hold up against wear and tear. The metal is for the rings, buckle, and the buttons which hold the straps together. This is great since they can not be easily bent or broken. Now the ball is rubber which only has a safety rating of a 3, since rubber is porous. Rubber being porous makes this toy harder to keep clean, so you should not share this gag. The rubber does have a slight rubber smell and taste to it.

Depending on what your expectations are, the gag may or may not meet your needs. If you are wanting something that is easily breathable and you can still hear the screams, then no, this ball is not what you are looking for. But if you are looking for something that makes the gagged one silent and completely fills the mouth, then yes, this ball is perfect. The only issue with the ball is that it is not secure on the strap so it slides on the strap, which can pinch the side of your mouth. For some it maybe uncomfortable, but to others it could add to the excitement. Otherwise the ball gag is completely comfortable, but this will vary from person to person depending on what size ball they like. The ball being of a larger size could cramp your jaw after some use and not be comfortable.

The ball is made of rubber, which is porous, making it harder to clean. The only way is to clean with a mild soap and warm water. Then you will want to dry it right away, since you do not want rubber to absorb the soap or water.

Should you need to lube up the outside of your mouth, it is best to only use water or silicone based lubes.

The gag is not discreet, so it does need to be stored somewhere that is discreet. However due to the size, it is small enough to pack away just about anywhere, even for traveling.

Overall this ball gag is great, but only gets four stars since rubber is porous.
