Vibrating clamp adjustable - bdsm toy by Spartacus - review by Ms. N

Theoretically, vibrating nipple clamps may sound like a good idea. If you are fond of a little nipple play, and you like bullet vibes, then this may appeal to your senses. That was what I thought when I ordered this product by Spartacus.

When the product arrived, it was in a clear, plastic box - not discreet in the least. The product itself is made primarily of plastic for the bullet vibes and controller, and metal and rubber for the clamps. There is a slight odor upon first using them, probably due to the rubber tips of the clamps, but that should dissipate with time and repeated cleanings. As for looks, the product is not a pretty one. The bullets and controller are an eggshell white color, which does not create a harmonious visual effect when coupled with the metal and black of the clamps. Perhaps black would have been a better color choice.

The bullet vibes run on two AA batteries, and the vibrations are adequately strong, but in no way overpowering. The strength of the vibrations can be adjusted with the controller. The volume of the toy is not so loud that you will have to be overly concerned about anyone in the next room hearing.

The clamps themselves are adjustable, though only to some extent. This may make them difficult or impossible for use on larger nipples. On smaller nipples, the adjustable nature of the clamps means that you can decide just how painful you want them to be.

Each clamp is attached to the end of a bullet with a screw. As such, when the controller (wired to each bullet) is turned on, the vibrations of the bullets, which hang heavily off of the end of the clamps, pull the clamps off. This in itself could be a design flaw. Perhaps...perhaps...the clamps would stay on better if they were attached to the middle of the bullets rather than the ends.

Cleaning of this product is easy. A quick spray with the toy cleaner and wiping off with a washcloth should be enough to keep everything fresh for play.

Personally, I found this toy to be a disappointment. I was not able to expand the clamps to a point where they would cover my nipples and stay in place at all. I therefore tried them on my pinky finger, and found that when turned on, the bullets vibrated the clamps off within a minute. Is it a design flaw? Maybe it is, or maybe this will be the case with any vibrating nipple clamps. Perhaps the two are not meant to be merged as one.

As a side note, since the clamps are attached to the bullets by a single screw in each, they can easily be removed if you would like to use the bullets as bullets alone, or clamps alone. I took off the clamps, then replaced the screw in the ends of the bullets in order to keep anything from getting in the hole. At least this way, the toy is not a complete waste of time and/or money.

As I mentioned, these two things - vibrations and nipple clamps - just don't work together. Sure, I can use them separately, but for the purpose for which they were manufactured, it's a no-go. I would like to say that this was the case for me alone, and that these would work for other people, but I just don't believe they would be functional for anybody.
