Fresh buckle collar - collar by PHS International - review by Avery Dragon

Of all of the collars I've had to deal with at work, and personally, this definitely has become one of my favorites. It acts great as a collar, putting a leash or tether onto the D-ring adds great fun. Oddly enough, it works as a ankle binder as well.

This collar would be great for a both beginners and advanced users. The bright and inviting colors, make it easier for those who are apprehensive to the idea of using collars; or any other S&M product. The strength behind the fashionable look works great for advanced users, allowing more use out of the collar without fear of it failing when it’s being in use.

The collar has padding on the inside, which feels almost like a soft foam that has material covering it. The padding leaves the wearer safer from marks along the neck, however it does increase the temperature around the neck letting sweat form and absorb into the padding. The material everyone else see’s is Polyethylene. This is a vegan friendly material, that is durable faux-leather.

The overall length of the collar is 19.5 inches long, with usability going between 14” and 17”, and the collar is 2” wide. Because of the width of the Fresh Buckle Collar, I feel this would be best for users with defined necks.

I got this collar for my boyfriend, partly due to liking to give him some humiliation and do gender play. He's really taken a liking to the Fresh product line because of this. When I put the collar around his neck, and fastened the buckle, he commented on how the padding was extremely comfortable. I attached a leash to the D-ring and lead him for a little bit, it showed promise in not just being cute looking, but keeping fastened.

Later on, I used one of SportSheets Tethers, which has 2 clips on it, to fasten the collar to one of the anchor pads on my SportSheets sheets. He tugged away as hard as he could while being paddled, and the collar didn't give. There is no sign of ware at all, which makes the collar seem more promising.

One last thing that we tried with the collar was to fasten it around his ankles, making sure the D-ring was positioned at the front of his body, I attached one of the Tether clips to the collar and used the Tether to lift his legs up over his head. In this position, his posterior was higher than his back, allowing another position for penetration or any other ministrations that wanted.

The main reason I looked at this collar was because of my boy, as previously mentioned, I like to humiliate him and we do engage in some gender play. The Fresh Buckle Collar got to my door the day I went to the airport to pick him up for our little vacation. At the airport, I presented him with the Center Spike His Pulse Collar.

Later on in the evening I showed him the Fresh collar, switching them and trying out the durability. A couple of days later I brought him a bag filled with Victoria Secrets panties, which were adorable on him, adding the Fresh collar to the mix only enhanced our play, adding a more feminine appeal to him. Though liking both collars, this was his favorite of the two. My plans now are to work on getting the rest of the Fresh product line (expect more "Fresh" reviews)
