The Soft Touch set by Eden Toys is a great introductory to bondage for those who aren't quite ready, or don't intend on having pain involved in the equation of playtime. This set includes a blindfold, cuffs, and a flogger for some added kink in the bedroom. Use of these items is pretty straightforward, such as the mask and flogger, but these uses can be described in more ways as one. The mask is a sensory deprivation object that prevents the user from seeing and using their other senses to determine what might come next; such as hearing, smell, taste, or touch. The flogger can be used to tease and tantalize, whether flogging a person, or running the tendrils of the falls along the skin for more sensory play. The cuffs of this set are used for restraining, but these cannot be, and should not be used for suspension bondage.

All of the items in this set are for light restraint and sensory play only. This is a great set to gift to the beginner, but more advanced users will not find much use for this set other than light sensory play. Overall this set is very travel-friendly and will pack into luggage for a sultry night of fun on vacation. It can be used in a bedroom or at a play party, and can even be gifted at a bachelorette party or as a gag gift.

Overall this is a really great set for the beginner. Advanced users who enjoy pain, bruising, or bleeding will want to pass on this set unless they wish to have it as a foreplay tool. The set is sturdy, and the stitching and material are both strong and can endure lots of wriggling trying to 'free' oneself on the cuffs. The cuffs and mask are made from fleece, while the flogger is made from what appears to be cotton falls and a faux leather handle. All of these materials are smooth, durable, and comfortable to use and wear.

The cuffs: They are flexible, will fit most sizes, and are very comfortable and easy to put on. They have velcro closures, but even with these they hold up to rough tugging and play without coming off or loose. In total length they are both 9-1/2 inches in length (not including the velcro closure), 3 inches wide, and should fit most wrist or ankle sizes. The fleece material is extremely soft and prevents chafing with extended play. This material does cause skin to sweat due to the warmth it provides and the fact it doesn't breathe. The swivel hook is not removable on one of the cuffs, but it does not take away from their quality overall.

The face mask: The mask measures 8-3/8ths inches in total and rests on the face comfortably depending on the person's facial structure. There may be a gap at the bottom depending on the bridge of your nose, but for the most part this mask blocks out all sources of light, and you cannot see through the velvety soft fleece material. There is an elastic band that goes around the head and keeps this mask on your face. This band is well-made and should fit most head sizes and shapes comfortably. The elastic is sewn to the mask well, and the stitching seems strong.

The flogger: The flogger is made up of cotton falls and a faux-leather handle wrapped around a dowel rod, with an extended wrist strap made from the same cotton material as the falls. The flogger measures 20 inches in total length (w/o strap). The falls come in at 13-1/2 inches while the handle measures 6-1/2 inches. The strap measures 5-1/2 inches. The flogger is well-made, but could see some more fraying at the frayed ends of the falls with extended and heavy use. The handle fits comfortably in the hand and the strap should fit over bigger hands and wrists easily.

Overall this set performed to the best of its ability. It's durable, fun to use, and adds another level of fun to any playtime activities.

The cuffs: You can use these in a variety of ways. Adding a chain and another swivel clip, you can extend the reach of these cuffs however much you would like. These cuffs can also be used with bondage rope. Simply tie the rope through the d-rings and you're well on your way to being hog-tied. You can also use these cuffs on your ankles if you feel so inclined, as the amount of velcro these have they can fit around most ankle sizes. The cuffs can also be used in under the bed restraint sets if you don't like the cuffs that come with those. They hold up well to twisting and pulling on the cuffs with a lot of strength, and the velcro closures didn't budge when tugged. The swivel hook also held up to some rough tugging with a lot of force behind it, and the seams on the stitching of the cuffs seem to be doing well after a long session.

The mask: It blocked out all of the light and was not seen-through by any means. The stitching on the mask seems durable, and the elastic band seems to be holding up well to stretching. It doesn't feel cheap in the hand, and on the face it has a nice, soft feel. Comfortable and able to fit most head sizes, this mask is great for keeping your partner in the dark about what your plans are for them.

The flogger: The frayed ends of the flogger may become problematic and fray more over time if you're not careful. However, this flogger is well-made along with the other items in this set and seems to be holding up to even rough play. The handle's faux-leather wrapping did cause the hand to sweat a bit, but in no way interfered with the performance of the flogger overall. The falls are soft and thuddy when flogging your partner. They leave a soft sting, but these are not meant to be high-impact falls, and are not meant to leave the skin bruised or bloodied. This flogger can be used on the back, breasts, thighs or buttocks, but it shouldn't leave marks. The flogger will leave your skin slightly redder if you're on the paler side, but these red marks will disappear after a few minutes.

If the fleece mask or handcuffs begin to look a little dingy, spot clean them with a damp cloth. These items should not be completely submerged in water as it could ruin the material, and spot cleaning the outside of them should suffice. If you'd like to risk it, you may be able to put them in a lingerie bag and cleanse them that way, as they are pretty delicate. The D-ring and swivel hook are not removable in the case of the wrist cuffs, so if you're worried about damaging your machine with the heavy hook, stick to spot cleaning. In the case of the flogger, spot clean only, as the cotton falls are frayed on the ends and you don't want them to become more- so after getting them wet, nor do you want the PVC handle to come unwrapped.

Once you've cleaned your items to their satisfaction, they can be stored in a drawer, in a bag, or wherever else you'd like. The flogger can be hung by the wrist strap or folded, as the cotton falls won't retain the shape they're placed in like leather would. Store your items in a cool, dry area, as the items shouldn't be exposed and left to any kind of moisture.

The kit came packaged discreetly in an unmarked cardboard box. The only thing listed were the shipping details (address, name, etc) and not the contents inside. The kit itself was packed under air pillows with the receipt. This kit came sealed in a cellophane bag with a silica gel insert to keep the fleece from getting moisture in and ruining the material. You can keep the silica insert if you plan on storing this item in a sealed Ziploc bag yourself. All of the packaging was recyclable.

The items didn't come with any instructions or how-to guides, but that isn't necessary with a kit such as this one. If you're wanting to gift this set to someone, the sealed cellophane packaging it comes in is compact enough to fit inside of a gift box or gift bag. You might wish to let someone who is easily embarrassed know that is an adult item though.
