A Whisper of Elegance
I bought the Silk Whisper on a whim because I wanted something to treat my hubby with. I soon found that I was in love with this blindfold. The front is made from a silk that is soft to the touch and the inside has a light canceling fleece. It has a convenient elastic band to secure it to your head, that is easy to use. I first got my Silk Whisper as a sexual temptation for my husband to tease and tempt me, but now I use it for so much more than I had initially intended. The Silk Whisper is a silk blindfold that is meant for use during sex to take away your ability to see. It is known that by taking away one of your senses will heighten your other senses, like your sense of touch.
The Silk Whisper blindfold is made beautifully. The front of the mask is made from a beautifully weaved silk which is soft to the touch. The embroidered design on the silk makes it eye catching. Inside the mask, the part that covers your eyes is a soft fleece like material. I haven't noticed any irritation caused by the fleece, and I wear contacts. I haven't noticed it leaving lint on anything or "shedding" as some fleece does.
This blindfold has an elastic that goes around the back of your head to hold it in place. I am not a big fan of elastic, I prefer a tie backing to a blindfold. This will sound odd but its mainly because I don't like my hair getting pushed up into a bump on the top of my head like most elastic bands due. It is a relatively thin band that will get stretched out if you pull on it too much.
As for other uses, I do use this for more than just sexual play. I also have used it while on a long airplane trip to help block out the overhead light. I also use it at home when trying to catch some sleep in the day time. The fleece on this blindfold acts as a wonderful block between your eyes and the light. I barely ever see access light seeping through the blindfold and when I do, its because I didn't put it on perfectly straight.
Overall we love our Silk Whisper. I use it more for sleeping during the day than I do foreplay. I absolutely love it though, it feels as though I have been transferred to an up scale hotel and am being pampered when I put on this blindfold. I previously had the Lelo Intima Silk blindfold with the elastic closure and ties on the back, but quickly replaced it with the Silk Whisper. I will be purchasing more of these for family and friends for the holiday season, this is one blindfold everyone should own!

After a few weeks of using this blindfold... just for sleeping purposes, it started to fray on the sides, which made it very itchy to wear.

This sounds lovely. Sometimes I find that blindfolds don't have enough of an opening for the nose. Do you find this sits on your nose comfortably? Great review
@MissV Yes it fit my nose great. I do have a smaller nose bridge and it fit it snugly but comfortably and it didn't leave one of those nasty little lines across my nose , like some blindfolds have in the past.
Thank you for the review! I've read different blind fold reviews and some of them are made small and will not fit over a certain size head. Did you find the elastic to be able to stretch to fit basically any head? Or was it kinda tight? Thanks again!
I found that the elastic had some give... My husband has a large head and he was able to stretch it enough to fit his head, but it was stretched to the max, and the elastic didn't go back to its normal state after that, so I wouldn't over stretch it but it does offer a good range of head size.
