This toy was definitely designed
I came home from work like I always do. Got my shower, walked back to her bedroom, she was in her nightie, “asleep”. I gave her a kiss, she suddenly rolled over, pinned me down, and strapped something to my wrists. We’ve used handcuffs, rope, and other items in the past, but these were very comfortable, soft, and didn’t irritate my skin at all. After the fun was over, and the lights were on, she uncuffed me and I found out she’d gotten the
Crave wrist restraints we’d both been eyeing.
When she went to the bathroom to clean up, I took a closer look at these amazing wrist restraints. They are just as vibrant in real life as they are online. The purple really pops and it is not too feminine or too masculine. The black fur lining the inside is very soft and helps to prevent any irritation at all on your skin. They are also nice and wide to prevent any digging. This is particularly important in my profession. I have a 6 ¼ wrist circumference and these fit perfectly. They can be sized anywhere from 4-8”. The metal is all powder coated in black, though it has chipped slightly with use. I use zip ties to connect these to the restraints that are tied under the bed.
These are only getting better with use. The leather is soft and supple. The buckles connect and disconnect easily. They were pretty stiff on the first use, but are softening every time we use them. The only negative is that the black powder coating does chip slightly. The only remedy I can think of is using some sort of cloth to connect these to our restraints, but the zip ties are so much easier and it creates some excitement when you hear that tell tale sound.
Overall, the
Crave wrist cuffs are just as beautiful as they are effective. They’re one of my favorite toys and I look forward to using them for some time to come.
We've been pulling the black sharpie trick for now. Or nail polish. Whichever is handier. Thanks for the great suggestions though! I will definitely be looking into that.
For chipping paint on the cuffs: Perhaps you can try painting on a few layers of clear, matte, non-workable paint fixative, like the kind that's made to protect artwork and painted furniture and so on.
This might rub off eventually, too, but I bet it'd take significantly longer, so it could be worth a shot. (Perhaps you could ask at a hardware store... you could always pretend you've got a porch swing with a painted chain or whatever ^.^)
A black sharpie can fill in the chipped bits, too.
Thanks for the review!
Haha, zip tie sounds remind me of computers. Not exactly the association you have. :)
Glad to hear that these worked out for you and are comfortable! Thanks for the review! =)
Cherry- Thanks. Both of us are in the medical profession, so we can't wear long sleeves and can't show up to work with a bunch of marks. I do see what you are saying about the marks being a naughty reminder for a few days after. Patent red sounds sexy. I'm sure you're partner will surely appreciate it as well!
Cock Wrangler- thanks for the suggestion. I'm tempted to.. but the matte black is very sexy. I'm not sure if my partner would let me make them shiny. The black red combination sounds great as well.
Great review, thanks! I am also looking for/wishing on some preferably (patent) red leather restraints to go with my hog tie I am about to review.
Nice to have the fur on the insides but sometimes I like to see marks from where I have been restrained. It's part of the turn on. Your girlie did you a good turn by getting these for you!
Nice review! I like the look of these, really wish they made them in black/red though. One way to protect the black coating- paint it over with clear nail polish. That will chip off eventually, of course, and will give it a shiny rather than matte finish... something to consider, though.
