Unfortunately, this whip is not in any way, shape, or form the toy for us. That's not to say that it wouldn't work for a less experienced or less extreme BDSM couple. They may find it gives just the right amount of sting and thud for their lower pain tolerance.
Pros:
It smells good.
Cons:
Short & light, packaging sucks, falls creased.

I get really excited about new toys. I literally bounded down the stairs when this came in. It has been so long since we've ordered a new flogger.
It's a little short, but I figured that would make it perfect for intercourse. The ones we owned before this one are all so long, that M often has to lean back to whip me with them. I must've overlooked the review saying it wouldn't work for more extreme couples, either that or didn't consider myself an extreme masochist.
If this whip draws the line then I fall on the extreme side, because there is no thud and very little sting to this whip. The experience was, in a word, disappointing. It is, however, a great price and design for beginners or those who aren't quite as heavy hitters as M and I tend to be.

This toy has sat in my top drawer since the first time we tried it. Which is bad cause I promised to send it to Cin for Christmas.
It's still too light. Still too stiff. Still doesn't do much of anything for me. But it might be okay for someone new to floggers. And it's definitely good for someone new to S&M play.

In some photos, this almost looks suede (which I think would be an improvement). It looks like the leather might be all one piece which wraps around to create the handle and the falls "cut into" it further down?
Do you think, over time and with use, the leather mgiht be broken in a bit and it could become a better toy?
A shame about the packaging and kink in the toy, though.

I'm really not sure breaking it in will change anything for us. I mean, the falls are just too light. It might make the toy easier to wield. But I don't think it'll change anything with regard to how it feels in his hands or on my skin.
But it might be a great buy for someone less extreme or experienced. Just not for us.
