arts and crafts for the kinky
This is one of my bedroom staples. Although the most obvious use for Pleasure Tape relates to bondage and blindfolding, there is an incredible variety of possibilities - ranging from the kinky to the inspired to the bizarre. It's fun and provides a great way to add something different to your sex life.Published: November 11, 2008
Pros:
versatile, colorful, easy to use, only sticks to itself
Cons:
may restrict circulation if not used properly
I love my Pleasure Tape. I could use any number of adjectives to describe its fabulousity, but at the end of the day what it comes down to is that it’s become an amazing, inexpensive way for me to add a bit of variety to my sex life.
What can you do with Pleasure Tape? Why is it so amazing? Here’s my list of some things I’ve tried with it.
1. Blindfold my lover. It only sticks to itself, meaning that his hair and eyebrows are completely safe. Phew.
2. Make an impromptu halter top and/or skirt. What can I say? I look good in shiny plastic and my partner loves having to work to access my body. It’s also pretty hot to have my erogenous zones stroked through the material.
3. Wrap up my lover’s naughty bits. This is the reverse of #2. Sometimes giving is better than receiving.
4. Have my lover insert a dildo or vibrator and then tape my thighs together. That one really speaks for itself.
5. Place a pair of socks over my lover’s hands and tape his wrists together. Even if your hands are restrained, those insistent little fingers have a naughty way of reaching for things they shouldn’t. Solution? Socks and Pleasure Tape.
6. Anal sex barrier. This one is kind of embarrassing. A while back I wanted to try rimming, but the thought of having my tongue in someone’s butt was a huge turn off. I’ve since gotten over that (age = indifference), but at the time it was a pretty serious dilemma. Did I suck up my reservations and go for the gold? Was learning something new really that important? I didn’t want to stick my tongue in a condom, there was no cling wrap in the apartment… so I cut off a piece of bondage tape and away I went. Not the best idea, but something that worked at the time (and he didn’t know the difference as it was his first time, too).
I’m sure there are more ideas that aren’t coming to me at the moment, but all of this is simply to illustrate the vast potential of something as simple as Pleasure Tape.
A word of warning… The tightness of the restraint depends on how much you stretch it when putting it on. With that comes the possibility of cutting off or limiting circulation. When used correctly, Pleasure Tape is amazing. Be aware of how you or your partner are doing and keep a pair of safety scissors handy in case you misjudged how tight the bonds are and need to get them off quickly.

Quote: I love to be tied up and love to tie up my lovers to so how good does this holdIt holds well for light play, you would be able to attach wrists and ankles together but if tied around the mouth the moisture makes it slip a little. I recommend it for light bondage play.

I've had a really good experience with it. If you pull hard you can usually pull the stuck end away from the other pieces, but it's not too hard to get around by tying the last piece in a knot around the rest of it, if you get what I'm saying.
