Use

This is a uniquely designed beginner's whip which is fun, playful and brightly coloured. It's small and unthreatening, and is ideal for those wanting to try out some more kinkier BDSM bedroom fun.

These silicone strands do not deliver as much pain as other whips, and the texture gives a wonderful loud thwacky-snap noise for effect. This unimposing, soft, durable whip is designed more for comfort than pain, but that could depend on the person wielding it .

Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features

This cute, unthreatening whip is surprisingly produced by the makers of PicoBong: a fun, flirty offshoot company from Lelo.

The total length of this whip is 15.5 inches long. The 100% neoprene turquoise handle is 5.5 inches long and has been uniquely designed into mini cubes/pyramids folded on themselves to form the soft cushioned handle/ It is supported inside by metal or plastic rods to keep the neoprene straight.

The handle is only an inch wide, but offers a lot of cushioning for the user, despite being so slim. It is also extremely light, at only 0.2 lb in weight.

PicoBong have embroidered their logo onto a label which is then sewn into the handle, giving an extra funky coloured touch to it.

The 8 black, stretchy, silicone tassels are sewn and secured well into the handle. These have a fall and spread of 10 inches long. Being so thin, I do feel with more extreme use these strands may snap if caught or tugged (although it is extremely well made and the handle design is really novel).

These silicone strands are extremely soft, but extremely grippy compared to most whips I have in my collection, and they are quite dirt and dust magnets.

Performance

This whip is the first whip or flogger I have ever used where the strands are made of silicone, and they feel so different compared to my leather and suede strands. The silicone is floppier than suede and leather and, being thin strands, drapes beautifully over the skin when used to caress the body. Being grippy, they do have quite a lot of drag over the skin, which in some instances doesn't feel as sensuous as suede and leather (which flow smoothly over the skin).
But the dragginess certainly gives a completely different feel to the receiver, as it feels cooler and heavier, and actually follows the shape of your body perfectly.

These ultra thin tassels feel really erotic as they stroke over any part of the body for foreplay, but especially on your bum cheeks, shoulders, breasts, and back; they feel even more sensuous as they caress between your thighs. I particularly love the coolness the tassels have after you have been thwacked a few times; it feels extremely soothing over stingy, hot cheeks.

As for being flogged, this whip doesn't have the weight of suede and leather, so no matter how hard the user hits you it can't do any extreme damage; it does sting, and the thwack that the silicone makes is music to my ears. It doesn't have the weighty intensity for those that are more experienced with whips, who would be better to choose a more advanced, heavier whip (meaning the user gets more thwack for little effort). With this Take No Evil whip, you have to put in a lot of effort to give more punishment.

This really is ideal for those of you that are new to BDSM, or are worried it may hurt too much. This only gives a slightly stingy thwack with no real lasting marks, perfect for teasing and foreplay, and a great introduction to the world of kink and whips.

Care and Maintenance

It's slightly easier to care for this whip than a leather or suede whip, as the silicone strands can simply be wiped down and sprayed with a sex toy cleaner if they're covered in lube or sweat, but remember: if the strands come into contact with lube, you must use a waterbased one or it will degrade your toy.

The neoprene handle is a form of synthetic rubber, although it feels and looks like fabric, but it's manufactured for wetsuits and is waterproof. Rinse this whip in warm soapy water and then spray with a sex toy cleaner if it becomes too dirty, but do not use a heat source to dry it; let it dry naturally or simply wipe clean with bacterial wipes.

Store the whip in the fun, unique packaging it arrived in to keep it clean, but try to keep the strands stretched out as they can kink and crease all too easily. It is a little awkward to store them straight, so it maybe an idea to drape it over something and allow the strands to fall straight.

Packaging

This has to be the most uniquely packaged sex toy I have ever received to review. PicoBong has nailed the fun funky, hip and trendy packaging to a tee. This brightly blue plastic packaging looks like a mini Lelo and is actually a gorgeous, brightly coloured storage pouch.
It's not entirely discreet, as its so unusual it will make people wonder what it is.

The edges of the packaging are sectioned and completely surround the whip in its transparent window. Turn your whip over, and you will see a plastic mouthpiece just like you have on a plastic ball, paddling pool, or dinghy, etc.

Blow into the mouthpiece, and it plumps up the surrounding sectioned edges...cushioning the whip from bumps and bangs...? I'm not entirely sure why you need this, but why not; I do find it fun and a brilliant, innovative idea.

There is a split at the back of the pouch at the top which has the care sticker over it. Simply peel it off to remove or replace your whip.

Experience

To gain extra sensation on your skin, simply add a waterbased lube to your skin and this will heighten the stinginess; too much, though, and it will simply slip and slide off. You also enhance the thwacky sounds being wetter too, for those that enjoy the sound effects to get more turned on.
I did find, though, as a user, the strands being so thin can whip around your victim so you have to tug or slide them off; you need a little practice to get the ends to hit their target, rather than the whole length of the tassel.

I'm more of an advanced user and prefer my heavier whips and floggers, but this is such a unique, quirky looking whip, I'm still pleased to have this in my toy box.

Follow-up commentary
I still sort of like this adorable little whip. We have used it for fun a few times, but I do prefer my more hardcore styled whips and floggers. This is ideal for a quick fun play session, nothing serious.

I feel those of you who already own heavier whips and floggers will not enjoy this product; it's for the novice and those still new to BDSM. It's fun quirky and soft to use, but still can pack a good sting.
