Barks More Than Bites

All in all, this toy is okay but nothing to glow about. As it was a promotional gift, I will continue to use it, but it's not something I would want to spend much money on. It seems cheap but the concept is cool. The design just needs to be improved upon.

Use

This toy is an interesting addition to the crop top system but it's not really all that great. One would think that an additional toy sold separately from the rest of the system would be something special, but it really wasn't. It is good for beginners just moving into kinky play though.

Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features

This area is where most of the problems with the toy are. The top of it is made of a fake leather that looks like it's going to break down quite quickly. It has the feel almost like snake skin mixed with leather. The top fits onto the crop rod fairly well but it's very easy to pull off, as I discovered much to my glee, but not so much his. He thinks there needs to be some sort of locking mechanism. The head can also spin leading to being hit with the side of it, which leads to bigger welts and more pain. The two pieces of leather make a nice smacking noise but do not add anything to the sensation.

Performance

This toy did not work for my partner and I very well. It caused some sting but we were too concerned about the head spinning or coming off to get deep into using it. It was an okay toy but in comparison to a true riding crop, it didn't feel the way we expected and it didn't work the way we wanted.

Care and Maintenance

This toy is super easy to take care of. Just wipe it down with a damp rag after play, spray it with some toy cleaner and wipe again. It's also very easy to store. It's small and can easily be hidden. Just be careful not to lose it.

Follow-up commentary
The more we use the crop top system, the more I like it. This toy still barks more than it bites but as he has gotten more proficient in his use of the entire system, the sting of this top has become more pronounced. It has held up well to significant amounts of play and it is easier to control than many of the other heads. It also is thick enough that the part where the rod is inserted does not act as a cane where it does with some of the original heads.
