Beginner Cuffs

These cuffs are great for beginners who very mildly struggle and want to try something new out, but are not built for those who 'put up a case' about being handcuffed as they are quite easy to break out of in more ways than one.

The idea of bondage has always fascinated me. To be helpless to stop, push away, or struggle with my hands and arms against my partner was always a turn on. So to try and play out some of our fantasies we purchased a pair of handcuffs|Handcuffs by California Exotic. Slapping the cold silver metal against my wrists and around our bedpost I was locked into place ready to see just how well they would hold up to my fantasy. We only hoped that the cuffs would hold up against my struggle when things got intense.

While the play started out great and the cuffs kept me from jerking my arms down, they began to hurt as they dug into my wrist if I tugged the wrong way. So unless you're into a few aches and possible bruises around your wrist I would suggest investing in something soft to go around them to help cut that feeling out.

The keys to these handcuffs are somewhat flimsy and if turned to hard will bend and warp. It is really easy to snap the keys off while turning. So beware of that if your man doesn't seem to know his own strength.

Loving the idea of safety they are equipped with a quick release button, however due to the placement is all to easy for myself to become defiant in the dominance submissive play and release myself. We had to position them so that my fingers could not wiggle their way down and release the cuffs from my wrist.

While these cuffs are great for beginners who just like the idea of being cuffed up, possibly lead around a little. They are not built to withstand jerking or intense struggles. They will simply break or snap apart, which isn't very fun. So, investing in police force cuffs|Hand cuffs are a must if you're like me.

Rather than investing in other metal handcuffs, go for leather or nylon--something with a wide strap that can hold tight and won't bruise/cause nerve damage in the process. like metal cuffs can.

We have a fuzzy pair of these but I always worry about them scratching up my pretty bed post.

    Thanks for the review!
