I was making do with using a crappy hotel sleep mask as a blindfold for a long time, and I decided it was time to invest in something better. At $19.99, this blinfold from Sportsheets is very affordable, and this simple black leather design pretty much looks great with everything. The outside of the blindfold is made from an extremely light, soft, and thin leather, lined with soft felt-type material that is gentle against the face. It fastens with a 3" strip of velcro in the back, and can fit heads from 18"-24" inches in circumference.

I didn't have any trouble getting this blindfold to fit around my head or my (male) partner's head, but I did find I didn't get a full blackout effect on my face. The bit that fits around the bridge of the nose is narrow, and may fit some faces better than others. A "big honking Cherokee nose" (as my father calls it) runs in my family, which means I can't get this blindfold to properly fit my face. My bridge of my nose pushes it up, and light leaks in. So I think this blindfold will be a perfect fit for some folks and not so much for (big nosed)others. I think I may need one of those "aviator style" blindfolds with separate eye pieces.

This blindfold is extremely comfortable for longterm wear, and is easy to take on or off (you can even slide it off in a pinch). I think it would be great for beginners or light players who want a high quality blindfold, and it's definitely better than a cloth blindfold. However, as a hardcore kinkster I'm finding myself craving something a bit more hardcore made from a heavier leather, with a better blackout, that fastens with buckles instead of velcro.

Great blindfold for me to use on others, but I have ordered a more adjustable one for myself. At least it was inexpensive?
