The look: The Black Cat Collar is simply beautiful. When we opened the box to review the product, my sub and I were immediately under the cat’s spell. Later that night, after I placed it on her, I stared and stared and stared some more; my sub looked magnificent in it.

This collar is not meant for the drawer by the bed; it is made to be paraded down the cat walk. This collar is stylish, shiny, seductive, and sophisticated; so much so it could be worn to play as well as on the town. Even the front rivet and hook are beautiful. I used both for tying and tugging, and they are strong and sturdy in look and substance and scratch resistant. The packaging was simple and easy to open: a transparent plastic bag.

The usability: Easy to put on and easy take off, the buckle is the perfect size and can fit a very small as well as very large neck. The remaining tongue is easily threaded into the collar’s loops. The collar is the right width too, as my sub could comfortably move her head in all angles without catching her chin or scratching the back of her neck. The rivet and hook are smooth, light, and strong. My sub reports that she found the collar very comfortable, soft, smooth around the edges, and she liked that the vinyl warmed up quickly.

The quality: This collar is very well made, with lots of attention to detail. Sturdy, light, substantial, and comfortable; it is built to be used. It is well stitched and finished, and there are no rough edges or shredding.

I highly recommend this collar to all folks, whatever your interest or experience in kink. It is a great collar for beginners as well as aficionados. And, as a total bonus to the quality, there were no cats skinned for this product as it is 100% vegan. Because it is vegan, the Black Cat Collar has no smell, no taste, no dye rub-off, and no threading. Gotta love that.
