Fleece lined blindfold by Spartacus - review by kaya

The Fleece lined blindfold is a very lovely addition to your toy box. It's comfortable and it's sexy. What a great tool to have in the bedroom. It's made well with quality materials.

I have a fair amount of experience with blindfolds and it seems like no matter how tightly I put one on, I can always find a corner to peek out of. Being able to peek ruins the entire purpose of being blindfolded! No matter how much I don't want to know what's coming, I'm powerless to stop myself from peeking. But that is not the case with this blindfold. I could not peek at all. The fleece pressing against your eyelids prohibits you from opening your eyes, lest you want an eyeball full of fur that is. I do not, so I didn't even try to open my eyes. I found that not being able to peek made it a whole new experience.

It really adds to the sensory deprivation. You feel totally at the mercy of your partner; every nerve, every hair, every sense is heightened, aware, and waiting. Waiting for what you can't see. It's erotic, sensual, and exciting. Couple this blindfold with some restraints and you've got yourself one truly intense night of fun and pleasure.

If I could change anything at all about the Fleece lined blindfold, I'd substitute the elastic headband for something a little more adjustable. The elastic is comfortable, true, but personally, I like something that fits a bit tighter. You want blindfolds to be a sort of “set it and forget it” toy, not something that you have to continuously readjust because it's slipping out of position. So depending on how vigorous you want to get with your play while blindfolded, the elastic strap may not be as secure as a buckle or a Velcro closure. However, for ease of application, the elastic strap works beautifully.

Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone interested in dabbling in bondage and blindfolds. A well-deserved 4 stars.
