Rubber ball gag - bondage toy by Spartacus - review by Alpine Subdreams

I love being gagged and personally find the look of seeing some gagged a turn on. There is nothing hotter then being gagged while playing or simply having sex.

When I started shopping for gags, the mouth gag by Spartacus fit the bill perfectly. The gag is made up of a 22" leather strap that is designed to fit anywhere from 14" to 20" around. It has 11 different holes, which gives you the flexibility of it fitting around a variety of heads and closes with an easy buckle. The rubber ball comes in three different colours (red, black or purple) and is about 2" in diameter and goes though the leather. The quality of the leather exceeded my expectations, given the reasonable price of the gag.

Once I started playing with the mouth ball gag, it held up surprisingly well. It's sturdy and never slipped out of place. The design makes it easy to remove the gag afterwards or in case of an emergency, simply undo the strap and remove it from the persons mouth. I personally love something that I can bite into and not have to worry about any damage being done. The rubber ball is squishy and allows you to really bite into it and not worry about damaging any teeth. I've never bitten though this gag however some teeth marks have been left on the rubber ball after a heavy scene.

When I first got the gag, there was a strong taste but after washing it, the taste didn't bother me and after multiple sessions the taste never became an issue. Since it is a rubber ball, one thing to be aware of is that you can not sterilize it, it is a porous material. You can clean it with soap and water and place your favorite leather conditioner on the strap to keep it looking fresh and clean.

As with most gags, it did the job of mummifying my words, you could still here mumbles and moans but you can't hear what the other person is saying. A bit of a safety warning, if you have someone in bondage and they could not remove the gag, come up with a non-verbal safeword. This will allow you to known that something is wrong. The non-verbal safeword could be anything from having a bell in their hand, a dog toy, or something else that they could drop if they needed to.

This gag is perfect for beginners who are just starting to explore or more advanced players. It's become a stable with my BDSM and will continue to be. It's lasted for me and has been with me though may scenes and has held up perfectly.
