Bondage for any bed!
A truly amazing kit for any bed that allows for limitless imagination. I can foresee hundreds of tantalizing adventures and positions for my husband and I with this awesome little bondage playground!Published: December 2, 2008
Pros:
Can use with any queen or king size bed, comfortable restraints, strong velcro, soft sheet.
Cons:
A little difficult and time consuming to put on.
I have been interested in getting into some light BDSM for a couple of months now since I noticed that I kept placing my arms above my head many times during oral play with my husband, and I imagined that it would probably be really thrilling if I was actually restrained somehow. However, we have a sleigh-type bed that has absolutely no where to put restraints, and I didn't think handcuffs or the like would cut it!
I found the Bondage Bed Sheet by Sportsheets, and I was sold after I discovered that it could turn our bed into a bondage playground! When I received the kit, I couldn't wait to play! My husband was more then happy to oblige considering that I absolutely hated it anytime before when he would try to pin me... don't know what the change was, but there we were!
The sheet itself is made out of 100% machine-washable nylon, and it's pretty soft on bare skin as well. Two pairs of velcro anchor pads along with four sports cuffs are included in the kit. The cuffs are made of neoprene, and they are very comfortable and yet they restrained really well!
The sheet is made for a very deep mattress which worked great for us! It has a drawstring that you tighten on one corner and two nylon straps that you anchor with a buckle under the mattress. This is actually the only disappointing thing about the Sportsheet. It would have been nice if it was just fitted like a regular bed sheet since many of ours are extremely taut on the mattress... those suckers don't go anywhere!
At first we only restrained my wrists, since I had no clue if I would be able to tolerate it. Let me tell you, I had no problem! It was totally hot and a huge turn on!!! The positions that you could get yourself into using this bondage kit! The possibilities...YUM!
I did discover that the geniuses at Sportsheets made it impossible to get yourself out of the cuffs since my husband decided to abandon me on the bed whilst he went to get more toys to play with. He loved the fact that I was wiggling unsuccessfully until he returned... the bastard (I'm kidding, I enjoyed every bit of it!). However, you can easily pull the velcro away from the bed if you need to by flipping your hand around and pulling, but that wasn't what I was trying to do... I was seeing if I could unlock the cuffs with one hand (um, nope).

your basic bondage bed. Blow up style matress with straps. I always seem to dislike the mattress's for some reason. Anyone else?

I'm not sure what you are asking. Blow up beds? No I don't like them. However, Sportsheets Bed Sheet Bondage -- Yes ! Love it. It is a sheet, not a bed.

Ooo, what I neat idea! I don't know how I'd feel about putting the bedsheets on and off every time, though.
Good review! Seems like too dam much work with the set-up. My mattress is heavy, not something I can even move by myself. Too bad it can not go on like tight fitted sheets?
That's what I was thinking, too! Only thing keeping it from being perfect is the set-up, but I believe you could probably put your regular sheets over it after you set it up initially...at least that way you wouldn't have to keep getting a workout in before the actual fun begun!
-or- This could be something you set-up in the morning or a couple of hours before. That way it's ready for playing when the mood strikes instead of having to stop in the middle for set-up!
Seems cool, but a lot of work for what its worth. I'd prefer something more simple and convenient...nonetheless, great review!

I kind of wish the cuff were more secure, but the concept is great for those who possibly don't want to have to worry about breaking their headboard should they get carried away struggling.
Liz2-- I am a relatively weak female and managed to set the sheets up all by myself (and I have a king-sized bed!). What I ended up doing was sliding the mattress around so it was a third or halfway off the bed; then I could set up that half of the sheet. Then I lifted the mattress up a few inches and throw the under-bed-ties underneath. I then slid it the other direction, set up the other half of the sheet, lifted up the mattress again, and was able to retrieve the under-bed-ties without much difficulty. All of this probably took me less than 10 minutes.
