Use

As beginners in the world of BDSM and bondage, my husband and I were taken by this under the bed restraint system. It was easy to install and fun to use, just what we were looking for! We wanted something we could easily get out of if need be, and we didn't want to spend a fortune on something we weren't completely sure we'd continue to use. The price on this system was within our budget, so we decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad we did! While we don't get much use out of our system these days, it was a wonderful introduction to the bondage scene. However, if you're searching for something a little more advanced, I'd leave this one to the newbies. ;)

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

This product is simple in its structure in that it's made up of basic hook and loop attachments, metal clips, and the classic D rings. The fabric is hardy and holds up well. A major plus for us is that it's very easy to clean! We've even run a few of our wrist cuffs through the wash and they're still as sturdy as when we bought them. The actual wrist and ankle cuffs are extremely adjustable, great for a loose or tight fit, depending on what you need at the time.

    • Fits comfortably

Performance

Our restraint system worked well for us until we started wanting restraints that were a little more challenging. Once we wanted to actually prevent escape, this particular system became obsolete and we needed a more advanced set.
    • Bulky
    • Comfortable during use
    • Easy to put on / use

Care and Maintenance

We've actually used the washer on a piece or two from this system, and it held up perfectly. Otherwise, we just used a damp cloth to wipe off the straps and stored them all in a dry place. Word from the wise! Don't just throw these all jumbled up in a closet! They're like Christmas tree lights and nearly impossible to untangle again. Take the time to put them away correctly!
    • Difficult to store
    • Easy to clean

This restraint system can be so much fun but I found it is too small for a king size bed w/ modification
But to set it up each time would be a PIA,I just tucked the straps under the mattress and it is always ready.
It also feels better with leather cuffs.

  • Under the bed restraint system
    • What creative ways can you guys come up with to use this system in conjunction with tethers and hip restraints.

We'll start with a simple one, Hog Tie: Simply have the person on the bed or floor on their belly and attach the wrist restraints to the their respective ankle restraints (from the behind, as in the ankles should meet the wrist around the lower back area)

What creative ways have you guys used this system?
    • I haven't got this one yet - it does look like fun though :-)

We just recently picked this item up. (Well, actually bf bought it and surprised me with it!!!)

We've only used it once so far and it's wonderful. Nothing creative yet, but maybe when we get the hang of it.

Are the standard bed restraint systems, such as 'under the bed', one size fits all for different beds? Could I use this on twin mattress and king mattress?
    • Well, Backseat Boohoo's verified review says she used it on an extra long twin and mine is set up on an extra tall queen. I know some folks with kings have found it a big small, though.

      Beat me to it!

For most beds, I think they would work. They worked on my extra long twin back in a dorm room, and they work on the full bed I have now. But I might draw the line at a king, yes, unless you want to buy an extension strap.
