"I love how much you smile when I hit you with this paddle." Said Master to me, as he beat my thighs with the boot side.

And, that pretty much sums up why I wanted this paddle. I knew it would make Master happy when he hit me with it, and I knew it would make me happy to be hit with it. It was love at first sight, you could say. I have seen this type of paddle at kink conventions and the like, but unfortunately, they all seemed like they would be a huge pain in the butt to use due to the fact that they were all huge. This one seemed like a nice size.

Who should get this toy? No one who isn't a fan of heavy bruises, and painful impacts. Whether this is your first paddle or your one millionth, that's the only real requirement.

What we have here is basically a rubber boot sole which is attached to a 15" long plank of wood. The wood itself is thinner than the sole of the boot, but it is still quite sturdy. The entire thickness of the paddle is about 3/4 of an inch, and the plank of wood the boot sole sits on is 1/4" thick.

The handle of the paddle has a hole which has a loop through it. The loop appears to be faux leather, though I can't be sure and there was no indication as to the material on the packaging. The handle itself also has a few strips of what also appears to be faux leather, but as the packing didn't say, I cannot be sure.

The boot side of the paddle has a distinct rubber smell which does lessen with time, as the paddle "airs out". The wooden side of the paddle has no smell whatsoever, but does deliver a nice sting. The wooden side is completely smooth, but beware - the boot side has tread, and while this is quite a lot of fun for those who love marks, others may find that this paddle is just too much for them because of it.

This paddle works like a dream. A lovely spanking dream, where I don't wake up right before the good bits!

Master has used this on both my butt and my thighs, and we have both enjoyed it a lot. My bum never really wants to mark, but after only fifteen or twenty minutes of being hit with the boot side of this paddle, I was red and glowing in all the right places. As I type this, I still have bruises on my thighs from a session from over a week ago! This is one hefty tool!

We did find that while I am less likely to mark when we use the wooden side, it is far from impossible. The wooden side is totally smooth, but the rubber on the other side gives it a lovely weight which is fun to use and gets me floating high on endorphins quickly. Truthfully though, we rarely use the wooden side. We are all about the boot.

We did find that this paddle is an odd mix of stingy and thuddy. The boot side is 100% dreamy, creamy thud. The wooden side is a very sharp sting! Used in conjunction with one another, they can be quite a treat!

The paddle arrived with a simple tag on it. The tag did not give much information about the paddle, but did have the company name on it. I prefer when my toys don't have too much packaging, so this wasn't a problem to me at all. We keep out paddle with all our other stiff beating implements in a wide-rimmed metal umbrella stand. For those who prefer discretion, well, you may prefer putting your paddle in a sock drawer or toy bag. It is sturdy and unlikely to break sitting next to other toys.
