Bound and Gag Me...But Not with This
When I look for BDSM "aides" comfort is my top concern but at the same time I look for durability, ease of use, functionality, and if it falls into a restraint category it needs to be able to go up against my fighting nature. Pros:
Easy to store, comfortable to wear, and made of silicone.
Cons:
Very hard to adjust, lint collector and feels flimsy.
Ball gags are used in BDSM to restrain in some form or fashion. Depending on the intent determines the use. When I first saw this gag I wasn't impressed but wanted to give it a shot. I believe everything deserves a chance and well sometimes I am wrong...
I own several gags and horse bits and all of them have the buckle feature. I thought that this light weight adjustable gag would be a great addition to my collection and offer something I had never experienced before that could possibly heighten my experiences with gags. Well first off the adjustable feature is EXTREMELY hard to use. I assume that the entire gag is made of silicone and at the very least the ball definitely is. But because the entire gag is made of the same or similar material is probably why it is so hard to adjust. Rubber or silicone rubbing against itself doesn't slide smoothly. I even passed around the gag to other friends who are stronger than me and they had a very tough time sliding the adjustment wrap up and down the straps. On the plus side the straps are comfortable, but honestly this is my own kudo to this product. There's too much give because of the strap material and can easily be gotten out of. At the same time this also means that it will fit almost everyone. This will definitely be frustrating to a Dominant who expect their aides to offer just as much discipline as they can give.
The ball is only 5 1/2", seemed kind of small to me and when compared to what I already own there was a noticeable size different. Even for an average sized mouth this gag ball seems small.This wouldn't be so made if it wasn't so darn easy to wiggle your tongue around it and push it away from your mouth even when the straps were tighten as much as possible. Very flimsy and not completely thought out. When you think of what a ball gag should represent this gag falls short.
There is no harsh smell or taste, o I guess that's another kudo, so far two and counting - but don't hold your breath.
The gag collects dust when it's dry so after being wash and set out it was even worse. I suggest a silicone toy cleaner because these are specifically made for these type of toys. Allow the gag to air dry away from any linty materials. Soap and water work just as well.
The material is food-grade,latex/phthalates free, non-porous, and hypo-allergenic. This makes for easy cleaning. It is extremely adjustable and should fit everyone. It is about 11" in length, very light weight, and easy to store, hide, or carry around - literally it can fit in your pocket.
Honestly I am not sure if this is even great for a beginner because if you are serious about getting in to BDSM you really need to understand all the components including purposes and usage of aides and I just can't take this gag seriously.
Overall I am disappointed with this gag and suggest you go elsewhere if you are looking for a "real" ball gag.

I still don't care for this gag, however recently I used it in a demonstration and it worked well. So its not my cup of tea in the bedroom but great for instruction.

Excellent review - I had the exact opposite experience! So many of the buckling gags just don't fit my tiny little head

Thanks for the review. With a dog in the house, it's great to know if something is a "lint collector" because this means it will also pick up dog hair. (yuck) That's one bit of info. I am exceptionally grateful you included in your review.
