When shopping for the perfect pair of ankle cuffs the options seem endless. For me, a few deciding points are comfort and durability. The quality design of Spartacus Fur Lined Ankle Restraints is just what I’m looking for.

The leather cuff is soft and supple. There is no stiff leather feel with these cuffs, straight out the box they can be easily wrapped around your ankles.

Lined with soft plush fur, they feel great on your ankles and prevent the tale tell signs of bondage. Squirm and tug all you want, these cuffs won’t dig into you or leave marks.

The metal hardware is perfect to ensure that these cuffs are strong and sturdy. Designed with study square buckles, a d-ring and well placed rivets, breaking free is impossible.

Here’s the Facts:

Spartacus ankle cuffs are made from 100% genuine cow hide leather. The leather has a nice finish, it is shiny but not the waxed over shin that some lower end cuff have. Also, the leather does not have a stiff thick feel to it. Rather, it is soft and flexible, which only gets better the more you wear them.
The cuffs are lined with Faux Fur, which has a thick pile. This allows the material to be plush and provide a nice cushion against your ankles. Although it is dyed purple, there is no need to worry about the color transferring to your skin.

The stitching is superb and it has the appearance of being able to hold up for a long time.

The metal hardware is key to the strength of these cuffs. They are designed with a square buckle and four rivets holding the strap to the cuff adjacent to it. Also, there is a d-ring which is held securely to the cuff with 6 rivets.
In addition there are four adjustment holes in the strap.
Although these cuffs are strong and sturdy, they are not intended to be load bearing. Therefore, they should never be used for suspension bondage.

Measurements:

Although these cuffs should fit most body types, it is always best to measure yourself to ensure these cuff will fit properly.

Max. size– 11 inches.
Min. size- 8 inches.
Cuff – 10 ½ inches long and 2 inches wide. Also, the leather and fur combined is ¼ of an inch thick.
Strap- 12 inches long and 1 inch wide. Also, it is 2/16 of an inch thick.
Buckle – 1 2/16 by ¾ of an inch.

For an idea how the cuffs fit, here is a compression with my ankle. My ankle is 8 inches around. I wear these cuffs comfortably on the 3rd hold and I can fit 2 fingers between the cuff and my ankle.

Care:

Proper cleaning helps maintain healthy leather. The leather can be cleaned by brushing off the dust and using a clean soft rag with saddle soap. Also, leather conditioner can be applied to help maintain the soft feel. It is important to always remove moisture or liquid from the leather by wiping it down with a soft cloth. In addition, you should also wipe all cracks and crevices to ensure that your leather does not mildew.

Storage:

Since this leather is animal skin, it should be stored in a manner which allows air to get to the restraints. Also, storing your leather in an air tight bag may cause it to sweat and mildew. We store ours by simply laying them inside of our wicker basket toy box.

After falling in love with the matching wrist cuffs, I could not resist ordering these ankle restraints. After using them several times, they are my go to way for ankle bondage.

They are strong and hold me securely without digging or cutting into my ankles. The fur lining is soft as I pull and tug trying to move my legs. Thankfully, I have never had a burn or abrasion from struggling against them.

We have used these in every way we can imagine and I have not slipped out once. Even when using them while in our swing and my ankles tethered for anchor points, these cuffs don’t slip and hold me and the swing securely in place.

Over all, these ankle restraints are amazing. The quality, design, and comfort set them above any similar product we have tried before. The only small problem we have run into is that Hubby feels they are a bit girly and has insisted on his own manly set of cuffs. Of course, this is totally fine with me. Now our Spartacus Fur Lined Cuffs are all mine. Yippee!!

These are simply amazing. They feel great on me and hold me very securely. The leather has gotten softer the more we use them and they still look as great as when we received them. I am so happy with our purchase.
