The Sportcuffs by Sportsheets are tough and comfortable neoprene wrist and ankle cuffs best suited for intermediate bondage players. The cuffs have a keyring on each and come with a clip attached. You can clip the cuffs together and use them just like that, but they can also be separated and connected to anything else like a leash or a collar, or even another pair of cuffs. When combined with the tethers that Sportsheets sells, I imagine you would only be limited by your creativity. These are not designed for suspension, however. These can be used nearly anywhere, though they are best used in the bedroom. I would say they are travel-friendly, since you can roll them up and fasten them with the velcro and they will not take up much room in a suitcase. If the velcro is attached to the cuffs, it will not catch on clothing in your luggage.

This product will work for anyone; man, woman, or otherwise because of the adjustability. These cuffs would work fine for beginners due to the fact that you can get yourself out of them, though it is a little tricky. I got a wrist cramp when angling my hands to undo the clip. I believe these are made to play rough and therefore will work well for persons of an intermediate experience level. Advanced users will find these suit their needs, but may be bored by the appearance and displeased with the fact that you can release yourself in most cases.

The design of these cuffs is excellent. They are made mostly of Neoprene, which displays outstanding physical toughness and remains useful over a wide temperature range. It also has an outstanding resistance to damage caused by flexing and twisting. This makes the material perfect for BDSM equipment.

The cuffs consist of two strips of Neoprene, each held to a keyring one third of the way from the left. The key ring is held on by a loop in the band that runs along the middle of each cuff. The Neoprene is silky and smooth on the outside, and has a soft fabric-like texture on the inside. It has a light odor, which is not unpleasant, and can only be detected when the cuffs are touching your nose. It is plushy, and has quite a bit of give, but still sturdy and strong. There is Velcro on the underside of the band on the left of the ring and on top of the band to the right of the ring. The Velcro fastens the cuff when it is rolled around a wrist or ankle. There is a Sportsheets tag to the left of the ring, under the band as well. Included in the set is a clip which swivels. It is attached to one of the key rings and clips to the other, but can be removed. The clip and key rings are metal.

This product is very well made. Not only are the Neoprene, Velcro, and metal materials heavy duty and tough, but the cuffs are well constructed. I can pull with all my might with the cuffs on or while they are off, and there is no damage to the cuffs. I expect these to last many years. There is some variance from cuff to cuff however. The band that runs across the middle of the cuff isn't centered perfectly, though the cuffs are still the same size. I don't see this as a flaw, as it does not affect performance.

The adjustability of this product means that anyone of any wrist or ankle size can wear them. I have pretty standard wrists for a woman. At the largest, these cuffs can fit around both my wrists. At the smallest, these cuffs can fit around my first two fingers with very little excess Velcro hanging off. I believe most people's wrists and ankles fall in this range. It is the perfect size for average users and can be easily adjusted to accommodate.

The Sportcuffs performed wonderfully. They met my needs and exceeded my expectations. They have not only held up to use well, which is important, but they are the most comfortable cuffs I have ever owned. For example, metal handcuffs can leave marks even when you don't tug, and you are limited on your positions. With these, I can lie on them comfortably, tug as hard as I want, and we have the freedom to connect the cuffs to lots of other things when we want to try something different. These cuffs are far less limiting, and far more comfortable! They don't leave marks or hurt in any way, which may be a pro for me and a con for others. The swiveling clip that connects them is great, because in you can disconnect the cuffs and move them from in front of you to behind your back and connect them again in seconds. This means you can change positions easily without disrupting play or having to remove the cuffs. It also works as a quick release if you want to be unbound quickly.

The Sportcuffs are easy to care for. Neoprene has a closed cell structure and no dirt can penetrate into the material. Cleaning with water and a damp cloth when needed will do the trick. To store, secure the cuffs with Velcro. If you leave them unattached, the Velcro will pick up lint and hair and will snag fabrics.
