Can you feel this?

This is one of those toys that is only limited by imagination. It can be light and fun, part of a medical fantasy, or down right mean. More often than not with us it is mean, but it isn't limited at all. Whether just into sensation play or breaking out the electrical wand, a wartenberg wheel has something to offer anyone. I just wish this one wasn't so pricey.

Use

A wartenberg wheel is a medical device used for testing feeling in limbs. It has been repurposed by Kinklab I to this versatile toy. This is no different from what you would find in a doctor's office, but it can be used in all new ways.

This is great for medical fantasies, sensation play, or paired with a violet what or similar device for electrical play. The latter is what we use this for.

On its own, it is prickly but not painful unless you are using it on delicate bits. The sensations range from ticklish to uncomfortable depending on where and how hard you press which makes this useful for most people.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

This is made of metal and comes with a metal sheath. The wartenberg wheel is sturdy and heavy in the hand. I like that it feels substantial. I have health issues and drop things that are really light weight. There, unfortunately, isn't any information about what type of metal that this is actually made from.

The sheath is leather and has the leather scent if you hold it to your nose. It is actually really well constructed which I wasn't expecting. The top fits under a loop to keep it closed, so there is discretion.

Performance

For us, this is a tool that goes with our twilight wand. A twilight wand is an electrical device that gives a small shock. Nothing serious. It has an attachment that turns the user into a current which transfers through the wartenberg wheel. For this, it works for us perfectly. The wheel moves freely and doesn't get stuck.

We aren't regulars at sensation play, but this has been used for light tickling applications on occasion as well.
    • Easy to put on / use
    • Holds up to use well

Care and Maintenance

This can be cleaned with toy cleaner or antibacterial soap and warm water. You can also sanitize it by boiling it, wiping it with 10% bleach solution, or putting it in the top rack of the dish washer. Dry it well and store it however you like. I use the sheath and toss it in with our wand.

This is compatible with all types of lubricants.

Packaging

Kinklab packaged this in a clear plastic tube with black caps. It was very similar to Vixen Creations packaging. The tube had the sheath, Wartenberg wheel, and a piece of paper with a woman modeling the product. She is topless but covering her breasts. Still, not discreet.
