Leather blindfold by Sportsheets - review by married with children

Have you ever wished you could lay back and just concentrate on the feelings and not on the slights? If so, this blind fold is for you. Its comfortable, cheap, high quality, and built to last. I am sure there are better ones on the market, there always is. But this one works great, and at a great price.

This will work for either partner, male or female. It does not come in a girly color, so your man should not feel like less of a man wearing it. I recommend this for every couple, to add some spice to their bedroom.

The design is done pretty well with this. The back side is soft and plush, while the front side is velvety and smooth. The leather is pretty thin, but then it is not designed to see a lot of wear ad tear. Unless your partner likes to rub your face on sandpaper while you are blindfolded, this should not see much abuse. Plus, if the leather were any thicker; it would make it un-comfortable to wear, as it would stiffen up by the thicker leather.

The blindfold attaches with Velcro. You can get it one pretty tight, so it does not move and allow your victim, I mean partner to see what is going on. I found that even with it on as tight as I could make it, it was not uncomfortable to wear for an extended amount of time. The portion that covers up your eyes is slightly on the smaller side. I wish those where just a tad larger.

The craftsmanship is fairly high. Plus it comes with a lifetime warranty. That is always a bonus when you get a warranty with your sex toys or sex furniture.

This has preformed quite well. Even with moving your head around, trying to readjust the blindfold so you can get a peak and the action; I found it stayed in place pretty well. More so then other blindfolds we have used in the past. There is always a way to get something off, but this one did not come off as easily as one would expect from looking at it. If your into hardcore bondage and what not, then I would not recommend this one to you. As it is not designed for the hardcore crowd.

This did not cause any discomfort at all during use. It did not chafe or mark up the skin. It did not cause a rash or other irritation of any sort. I was impressed with how it preformed for us, as I was expecting less for what we payed.

There was no care instructions included with the blindfold. I would have to assume that you can only give it a wipe down with a damp cloth to keep it clean. I don't see this lasting if you submerge it in water, or run it through the clothes washer.

Ours has not gotten too dirty. As it is placed on the face, it is out of the way of most of the action. The most filth it has seen has been sweat. After we are done, we just wipe it down and place it some where it can dry pretty quickly. I have not noticed it getting any funky scents or odors of any kind. I suppose it could, if you are not wiping it down after play time.

You can store this just about anywhere. We just throw ours in the drawer. We have not had a problem with this storage method yet.

This is packaged in a slip cardboard box. The kind that you see hanging on hooks at the store. There is a picture of a woman in a bar, wearing the blindfold; with her man laying right beside her. So it is not the most discreet package. The good thing is you do not need the package for storage. So you can toss it as soon as you get your blindfold out.

There is no instructions of any kind included on the box, or inside on an insert. You don't really need one with this kind of product. But A company that cares about their customers should include any kind of info that pertains to the product you purchased from them. I would like to have seen some kind of care instructions included, so that I can keep my blindfold looking and feeling like brand new for as long as possible.

Over all I feel this is a great product. I do not think I have ever been disappointed by a Sportsheets product yet. They have all held up well, and did not cost me an arm and leg. I know that Sportsheets does not make restraints and other bondage gear for the hardcore, but we are not hardcore BDSM players. We just enjoy some light restraint from time to time. It adds some spice to the bedroom. And we dont feel like we are acting out the next Saw movie.
