Collar with clamps review by Spartacus

This has got to be one of my favorite bondage toys! I just love it when master tightens the collar around my neck, tightens the clamps upon my nipples and then grabs the chains, leading me around by neck and nipple! A leash could also be connected to the D-ring in the front, allowing the chains to swing freely as you are being led, which also feels nice - cold metal chains hitting and rubbing your chest, nipples swinging and swaying with your every movement. Personally though, I prefer master tugging at the chains, nipples straining as they are being pulled along...

The collar itself is made of soft, black leather with metal D-ring, buckle closure and grommets. However, small-necked people may have a problem with getting a firm closure. I currently have it on its tightest hole to receive a comfortable tightness - snug, but not choking, able to move up and down a little but not side to side. The clamps are rubber-coated and are adjustable for comfort. I like to use them alone or in conjunction with wrist/ankle cuffs, and either the Sex Sling or I Like It Doggie Style, both by Sportsheets.

I highly recommend that those new to clamping start out with the clamps as loose as you possibly can, but still tight enough to have them hold with gentle movements. As your nipples get used to the pressure, slowly tighten them further and further. I found that a good way of working this in without losing 'the moment' is to precede by starting the 'ramp-up' about an hour before master gets home/wakes up. This way, master will be happy to see slave, ready and waiting for master's every command, and slave will have nipples ready to go for whatever tugging and swinging which may come. The clamps on the collar will have to be pretty tight if 1) doggie style is on the menu, 2) master is going to tug, or 3) rough sex is in the cards. Otherwise, they will fall off (which isn't so bad, because the collar is still there, but it can defeat the purpose of the clamps).

Now, for the negatives:

As I mentioned before, the clamps need to be on pretty tight if you want them to stay on for an entire session, and even then, there is no guarantee that they will hold tight, especially for those whose nipples are on the small side.

I have also noticed a small possible defect. The screw which holds the two sides of the clamp apart may start to strip the hole it runs through. If this happens, the clamps will not reliably hold open. These two reasons are the only reasons I took a star off my rating and only because we can't do partial stars.

Overall, I love the Collar with Clamps. I love them so much; I wear them around the house whenever I can! I highly recommend them for anyone who gets pleasure from nipple play and those who practice S/M.
