Do your nipples like some serious abuse? Want to test your pain threshold for a pretty intense experience? These clover-style clamps can be your best friend. When it comes to nipple clamps, clover-style ones are about as serious as you can get. They're meant for those who are really experienced in BDSM and nipple play. Clover clamps are the only clamps I've ever used. I bought my first pair about a month ago because I'm attracted to some dangerous, scary looking things and I know I can handle some intense play. If you're a beginner or are even slightly hesitant about some super intense play, you might want to skip these and head for the tweezer and adjustable styles out there and work yourself up until you're fully comfortable with them.

These nipple clamps can be used on men and women. They can work for a variety of nipple sizes without slipping off. They're great when worn during intercourse. Any movement in the chain can be felt a great deal. Doggy style takes on a whole new level of intensity when you have some of these on. You can hold the chain in your mouth as a bit. You can also flip over into missionary and have your partner pull or tug on them. Clover style clamps are designed to get tighter when the chain is pulled. You can also attach weights to the chain to take it up another notch.

These can be used as the main act of play, or as a warm-up. Nipples in the clamps are a lot more sensitive, and once the clamps are removed, the nipples are super sensitive. I personally don't have much sensation in my nipples. I had them pierced to try to increase sensation, but it didn't really do much for me. These, on the other hand, bring the sensation back and make it highly pleasurable.

And, these don't just have to be used on nipples, either. If you want to torture yourself even more, you can use them as labia clamps! They still work perfectly for that.

The clamps and chain are made of a shiny metal material. There isn't any paint that can chip off like some of the other colored clamps, which is a total plus for me. (My Fresh Nipple Clamps are actually pretty chipped already.) The metal is a medium-wight and resists bending. They weigh a total of 3.2 oz, so they've got a little bit of weight to them, but they're not super heavy. Because these clamps are metal, you can throw them in a fridge or freezer for a nice icy experience.

The actually clamp part that comes into contact with the nipple has a very nice and thick rubber pad that keeps them from slipping off during use and when pulled on. It keeps the clamps from actually digging into the nipple.

Clover clamps are really pretty and slightly sinister looking. They're so much more intricate than the tweezer or more basic designs. They've become well-known in the world of BDSM because of how unique they look. The design is incredibly functional, though. The top half is the clamp, and the part at the bottom is what makes them get tighter when the chain is tugged. (At first, I was confused at what purpose the bottom part had until I did a little research when I got my first pair.)

The clamps measure 2.5" long, the little pads on the clamps are about .25" across, and the chain is 12" long. The clamp opens easily to about 3/4" wide. These should be able to fit both large and small nipples and still be "comfortable" and secure. These are not adjustable. The only thing you can tweak on them is how tight they are by pulling on the chain, but without any tugging, these are still super intense.

I prefer these over my Fresh Jaws Nipple Clamps because they seems to be made a little bit better for the same price. The rubber pads on the Fresh clamps are flat. The ones on these actually have 4 little nubs on each side of the clamp which help to grip onto the nipple.

Like I've stated earler, clover-style clamps tighten when you pull the chain. You won't have to worry about them slipping off even with some super intense pulling. All nipple clamps can increase nipple sensitivity, and these are wonderfully amazing for that. Even on my basically dead nipples, the slightest touch is highly stimulating while wearing these. After taking them off, the sensitivity is increased for about 10 minutes.

When you use these, it's best to put them on slowly so you can gradually increase the pressure. It can be a bit much to take all at once. When I first started using clamps in this style, it took me a little bit of practice to be able to feel comfortable in them. For some reason, even though the design is incredibly similar, I prefer the way these feel over the Fresh Jaws Nipple Clamps. I find them to be a bit more comfortable, but no less intense. I'm still trying to figure out exactly why this is, but I enjoy it either way.

Nipple clamps don't really need too much TLC. If anything gets on them, make sure to wipe it off with a clean rag. In normal use, they should stay pretty clean. You can store them just about anywhere you choose without too much of an issue. It's best that they're tucked away because their design isn't really discreet. I've thrown mine straight in an overnight bag without any issues.
