As a new BDSMer and nipple-clamp virgin, I was extremely excited to receive this toy. It is very visually attractive. The collar itself is purple leather, which I find very sexy. The collar is large and closes like a belt buckle so you can adjust it to fit your neck. I have a very small neck, so I think I had to buckle it on the very last hole. This leaves excess material inside the collar against your neck. I found this mildly uncomfortable (mostly because I have a thing about my neck...I don't like anything too tight around it). I ended up leaving the collar a little looser than needed because of the extra material that could rub against my neck, and because I found the bulkiness of the leather to be somewhat uncomfortable. However, once the play started, I did not notice this at all. I guess I was also somewhat nervous, having never used a collar or clamps before.

The clamps themselves took a little bit of figuring-out. They are highly adjustable. You have to untwist the screw so that the clamp stays open wide in order to put in on your nipple, and then once you know how tight you want the clamp, twist the screw back into place so the clamp is only open to a certain point. I had to play around with this a lot since I didn't know how tight I was going to be able to handle.

After reading a few other reviews before I ordered this product, I was a bit concerned about whether or not the chains holding the clamps would be long enough to stretch from my neck to my nipples. However, I did not have this problem. The only problem I did have was that the one clamp (I think it was the right one) would not stay on very well. I may just have to have that one tighter next time. I was also a bit concerned because I do have fairly large nipples, and I wondered if this would make it harder for the clamps to stay on. It was a bit tricky to get them on, and I think if I made them a bit tighter they would have no problem staying on (the left clamp never fell off).

I thoroughly enjoyed this toy and can't wait to use it again. My partner is usually the submissive in our play, so this was an exciting chance for me to reverse my role, and I loved it. My partner commented on how sexy the collar looked on me because of the beautiful color and good-quality material. The purple leather and black chains are a very sexy contrast. My partner could tease me by gently pulling on the chains or on the collar itself to give me extra stimulation. The hook on the collar where the chains are attached could also be used to attach a leash. That may have to be my next purchase..
