Cuff me, mistress
This may be one of the best toy investments you will ever make. The system is easy to set up and stays in place while remaining concealed until the mood strikes you to use it. The cuffs are super soft and comfortable, but also secure and durable. The straps are adjustable to achieve the perfect amount of restraint. The cuffs are easily removed from the straps. Overall, a fantastic product. No complaints!Published: June 12, 2010
Pros:
Comfortable cuffs, easy setup, durable
Cons:
No complaints at all.
This system is fantastic. The nylon straps are attached all together in one system, with an anchor strap to lay down the middle under your mattress and four straps branching out in each direction. The branches can be positioned at each of the corners of the bed or in the middle of the bottom/top of the bed. You can easily adjust the length of the anchor strap or any of the branch straps. I found it easiest to shorten the anchor strap slightly, and leave most of the adjustment to the branch straps depending on how tightly you or your partner wants to be restrained (and also how far you want the cuffs to hang out from under the mattress!!).
Each of the branch straps has a metal ring at the end. Metal clips on the cuffs provide easy attachment to and removal from the branch straps. This is convenient because if you need to do any readjusting after you're all cuffed in, you can simply unclip the cuffs from the restraint system rather than undoing all the velcro cuffs. You can easily tighten the branch straps even while someone is cuffed in, however! That way, they can tell you how tight is too tight and assure you that they are comfortable in their restrained position.
The cuffs themselves are fabulous. They are made of a very soft velvety material and do not rub the skin in an uncomfortable way at all. When we used them they left minimal marks on the wrists/ankles (this may be good or bad, depending on the person!). They are easily adjustable with velcro and hold securely.
The system is easy to set up. All you have to do is move your mattress to lay the anchor strip down the middle of the bed underneath your mattress. Stretch the branch straps out in the direction you prefer, and put the mattress back on top of the positioned system. You can easily tuck the cuffs and straps under your mattress, or even under your pillow so you can leave the system set up for whenever the mood strikes.
I honestly have nothing bad to say about this product. I love it and have only used it a few times so far.

Follow-up commentary
1 month after original review
After purchasing the system about a month ago, my partner and I have used it at least a dozen times. Both of us have been restrained and we both love it. We shove the cuffs behind the pillows at the top of the bed and under the mattress at the bottom. They're so easy to pull out for spontaneous play, or when your partner needs to be bound for a quick release. We've used it with my partner being bound on his back or on his stomach and at varying strengths to restrict movement. Definitely a great investment that will be enjoyed for a long time.

Under the bed restraint system

What creative ways can you guys come up with to use this system in conjunction with tethers and hip restraints.
We'll start with a simple one, Hog Tie: Simply have the person on the bed or floor on their belly and attach the wrist restraints to the their respective ankle restraints (from the behind, as in the ankles should meet the wrist around the lower back area)
What creative ways have you guys used this system? -
I haven't got this one yet - it does look like fun though :-)

sweet sallyWe just recently picked this item up. (Well, actually bf bought it and surprised me with it!!!)
We've only used it once so far and it's wonderful. Nothing creative yet, but maybe when we get the hang of it.

Bed Straps

ChaseKAre the standard bed restraint systems, such as 'under the bed', one size fits all for different beds? Could I use this on twin mattress and king mattress? -
Well, Backseat Boohoo's verified review says she used it on an extra long twin and mine is set up on an extra tall queen. I know some folks with kings have found it a big small, though.

For most beds, I think they would work. They worked on my extra long twin back in a dorm room, and they work on the full bed I have now. But I might draw the line at a king, yes, unless you want to buy an extension strap.
